Fun was had by all!!!
Well.............to quote my friend "B"............"WOW!"
I just got home from the Gwen Stafani concert............and, uh, WOW! She is just amazing..........no other words. Just freakin' cool. Ten of us went together and ate a marvelous dinner before. It was fun to see all the little girls at the concert trying to dress like her...........it reminded me of when I was a pre-teen and we all tried to dress like Madonna. Ok..........now I am dating myself.
What was funny is that Jerry McGuire was the movie that was on the TV as I was getting ready to go to the concert and AGAIN when I got home from the concert. Anyone who knows me, knows that I feel an unintentional connection to that movie. And, I have to be honest.....I cried.....AGAIN. Not to mention the fact that Jerry's "revelation" that he loves the girl happens at Christmas time. So, I felt a little sadness because this is the first Christmas in four years that I am single again.
I have so many blessings, though. And, I am aware of that and thankful for it. I have surrounded myself with the most amazing people on the planet as my friends. They take care of me and love me so. I don't feel worthy of them most of the time. They are simply an incredible gift in my life.
So, here are the holidays...........I will do a soul searching year review next week maybe...........but for now...........
