Great day! Really. I went to a city-wide benefit for the hurricane relief today. 100% of the proceeds went to the survivors and their needs. But, in the mix of the food and drink donated by the best restaurants in Nashville were bands that have been displaced by the storm. One of the them was............LeRoux. This is a band from my childhood and from my geographic region. This is a band that sang about "New Orleans Ladies"...............more importantly to me..........."Creole Ladies". It was a hit.....REALLY!!! And, for you Yankees......I will sound it out for you....the band's name is LAY RU. For obvious reasons, I have ALWAYS loved this song. But, to get to hear them live and in person.........well, I about pee'd in my pants!!! I mean this was HUGE to me!!!
