I'M NOT TALKING!
Goodness! I have tons of people that write me or ask me about my political and religious views.
People! Listen up! I DO NOT and WILL NOT share ANY political or religious views that I have. EVER! And, believe me (with all this crap I write!)----I HAVE THEM----and STRONG ones!
Here's the deal. I don't share them because they are mine and mine alone. I don't share them because I don't CARE if you agree or disagree. And, here is the important part!-----I DO NOT want to know your views on these topics EITHER! I love when people comment on my entries----but that is because I chose to "put it out there" and you chose to read it and comment on it. I did not shove anything down your throat and you might be giving insight that I had not considered. But, POLITICAL AND RELIGIOUS views are DIFFERENT!!
Why? You ask? Well, let me explain. I don't care about your views because if I am going to be a loving and compassionate person that lives with integrity and grace (you know, my typical little speech)......then, I love you FOR YOU, not whether or not you believe EXACTLY like I do! It's crap, people! If you are asking and engaging in conversations with people about their political or religious beliefs in order to find out who they are...........fine. But, if you are doing it in order to express your own opinions on the subject, sway someone to your ways of thinking, or (WORSE YET) judge them for it............well, it is just WRONG! I could care less about what name you call your God......or how you cast your vote in an election........because I trust that YOU too are a loving and compassionate person. I am trusting that you are doing what is BEST FOR YOU-----and why would I want to change that?? It is not MY job. Why would you want to change my views? It is not YOUR job. This also goes with who you sleep with......I don't CARE. Man, woman, black, white, green.......WHATEVER!.......go forth, be happy. As long as it is a CONSENTING ADULT........Who am I to care who you bump uglies with????
So, to sum up. I am NOT TALKING about religious or political views because I love ya no matter what-------and I hope that you will do the same for me!
