Genius!
As the clock ticked over to 12am this morning, I rejoiced for it was the 12th of the month! That's means another exciting 12 of 12. I was diligent about photos all day...
Until my roommate came home and informed me that today is, in fact, the 13th.
Well.
So no 12 of 12 for me this month. Instead, 12 of 13!
12:23 am I'll never lose the weight if I keep candy making at midnight!
12:42 pm It's STILL raining today! A view out of my windshield.
1:27 pm Penders has the best selection of sheet music in town! I came in looking for something else, and nearly walked out with a book of solos.
1:47 pm Traffic suuucked. Texans do not know how to drive on wet roads.
2:01 pm Batman took advantage of some rare sun to pull the Batmobile out. It's coming together slowly. Sadly, the rain returned and it had to go back into the garage.
2:16 pm Look what was delivered today!! My new piccolo French horn. I played a few (poorly tuned) notes for my boss, then made a quick exit, excited to play with my new toy.
3:59 pm After about an hour of practice on my new horn, my lips were tingling. It's been years since this mark graced my lips. I used to have an sort of puckered scar following along one side of the ring from endless practice.
4:39 pm I love you, too, tomato. Cooking a delish supper of chicken tomato risotto.
5:08 pm Supper isn't coming fast enough for the sick roommate.
6:08 pm Both roommates are home, awaiting supper
6:23 pm This is where I'll park myself for the rest of the night. Look at the desk my roommates bought me!
11:10 pm A good way to end the night: cheap wine
