The growth of the chinese civilization has seen it's progress in spurts, similar to many other civilizations. With it's great inventors and innovators, it progressively exceeded the success of many other great civilizations. Through economic change from technological breakthroughs and the cultivation of rice in the south, to political philosophy that would strengthen the citizens' allegiance to their government, or the
1. think paper for record keeping, rice cultivation, and the water mill.
2. think confucius, Legalism, and the Mandate of Heaven.
