New Theme - Altered

Sep 15, 2006 07:59

I know you guys were having a lot of trouble with this shoot, so I'm sorry if I made it a little too difficult.  Lets solve this problem, shall we?

This shoot is all about conveying a "humanoid" feel.  These are beautyshots, so make up and facial expressions will play a serious role in these pictures.  You must portray a humanoid/robot pretending to have human emotions.  To make things a little easier on you guys, 3 of the pictures can be regular beautyshots using neutral or natural make up, but you must find a way to make them tie in with the theme of the shoot.  3 pictures should be of you as a robot (you may use photoshop), and 2 should be like what was originally assigned...half robot, half human (you may use photoshop to merge 2 pictures together if your must).  This shoot focuses mostly on creativity, make up, facial expressions, and interpretation.  Try your best to make this work.  Please don't throw of some metalic make up and consider yourself done.  Look at some pictures of robots, and experiment with colors.
Requirements
1. Please submit 8 800x600 pictures (4 must be color, 4 must be B&W) to tm.judges2@gmail.com (remember - 3 regular beautyshots, 3 robot beautyshots, and 2 human/robot shots).
2. Hair should be slicked back in all of the shots.  Make-up will play a key role in this shoot, so please make sure it looks professional.
3. Pictures should be taken from the shoulders up.  I would prefer that shoulders be bare for this shoot, and that pictures be taken from a *straight shot.
4. Extensions will only be granted to Ailsa and Dani Jo for legitimate reasons, and you must ask for it atleast 24 hours before the deadline.
5. auroraskye is here to help you, but you need to help her. If you want your pictures edited, make sure you have them in 24 hours before the deadline.
6. PLEASE do not add text to your pictures.
7. Pictures are due by 6 pm EASTERN standard time Wednesday, September 20th.

*straight shot - full frontal face shot with very little, to no tilting of the head.

Hope that helps a little!
