Applicants, and Potential Applicants
I've noticed that several people have stated that they'd like to apply, but they don't feel as though they can because they lack a photographer and/or tripod. While I think it's extremely sweet that you all want to go over and above to impress the judges, you DO NOT need a photographer or a tripod. Some of my favorite shoots in this competition were taken by the models themselves, and when asked how they managed to get those shots, they said "I stacked up a pile of books, put the camera on top, and used my self-timer". If you'd like some tips or suggestions on how to do your shoots yourself, just say the word. I'm sure that past participants would be more than willing to help you out.
