Learned something new about myself last night as Candice and I are standing on the side of the highway. I know how to change a tire!
Poor Candice. On the way home from a wonder interlude with Kacee, Julie, Sarah, Candice, oh yeah, and FOAMY last night, Candice's car gets a flat tire. She calls me because I was just up the road from her a little, so I turn around to find her. She had a spare and a jack, so we get those out and stare at them for a moment, trying to will the tire to change itself because I was still in office attire, and Candice had just gotten her nails done. Not that we are girls or anything. :) Anyway, we actually called a friend of ours, but he didn't answer, so we decided to brave it and just do it ourselves. After wrestling with the jack for probably longer than was necessary, we get the car up and commence the changing of said tire. I had not changed a tire in a REALLY long time, but it really didn't take very long. So we got the tire back on, and I followed Candice into Cambridge to make sure it was on well. She called me just after 10pm, informing me that she had gotten home, and that her dad said we did a good job... except the lug-nuts were on backwards. UGH! I was so proud until then.
I swear that girl and I should write a book about our random adventures. Whew!
