drat! .... or maybe not....
Traded my off days this week, so I have to work tomorrow, and am off Thursday. This is sucky because I get paid tomorrow, and make my weekly stock-up at the grocery trip on mondays, but now will have to squeeze the trip in between getting off from work and picking up the spawn after school. I really hate to be rushed, but I have not been able to switch the last 3 times my manager has asked, so for the sake of job-security, I will be off Thursday instead.
The good part about the switch is that come Thursday, I can spend the day shopping for stuff for Halloween, and maybe some new clothes too (huzzah!). The Cock-O-the-Wall has promised to contribute to the Halloween-fund too, aaaand his off week starts Thursday as well, so I should have the extra $$ for my child-free shopping excursion!
