I am finally going to make use of the money I was given for my birthday. For some time now I have been planning to create room boxes for crime scenes from my favorite mystery novels. My muse has been silent for some time though (not to mention a recent lack of discretionary funds), which has left the project on the drawing board so to speak.
I have been revitalized as of late, with my enthusiastic return to Holmsian fandom, and my delving into various obscure Victorian detectives, as well as my fascination with steampunk/neoVictoriana. It is fortunate, as well that Victorian decor dominates the market of miniature furnishings.
The FIL always gives Amazon gift cards as gifts for birthdays and christmas. With this I intend to complete my collection of The Canon.
