I guess this is another apology. One week turned into three, and I'm just now tentatively trying to pick up threads again. I will probably be slow.
If you're interested in the explanation, while I was out of state for the funeral I shared a bed with my mother, who was getting over being sick, and a lot of my relatives had just been sick or became sick while I was there. Needless to say I brought home germs, and I spent most of the week after I got back non-functional from it. Thought I'd recovered and now it's trying to become bronchitis so I'm on antibiotics. Whee.
Also... I adore Connor, I really do, but his character is very wrapped up in loss and the people he's outlived. Even when he's in a good mood, that history is integral part of him. Having just lost someone, it's been a little too close, and every time I tried to get my brain back into him I shied away again. I will probably be slow catching up, but I'm trying.
