I may not be the best to give him advice on other woman to turn to, Vizier.

I am not satisfied with many in this harem. They lack.

My rank among such women is not a problem, nor of importance to me. I care for my lord, and I would see him cared for.

Should he come to me, he shall be welcome. Queens are expected and trained to do such duties, and though I am Queen no longer, I have been prepared since childhood to need produce an heir, despite my... failings.

Such sincerity about the Sultan is what he needs most of all. I only matter to him because of the empire that needs to be run with my help, but you, my lady... perhaps your influence will be broader and extend to that beyond the bedroom chambers.

This might sound too presumptuous coming from a mere Vizier to His Majesty, but your royal bearing extends far beyond the boundaries from where you ruled. It is evident in the harem, and perhaps the Sultan himself sees it too...

That would depend on the Sultan, dear Vizier.

I would hope that what has always been ingrained in me could not have left me, even if my title has.

If he does, it would be pleasing to me.
