Hopefully this hasn't been prompted yet. I think I remember a prompt asking for Charles with a visible/physical mutation, but it wasn't specific like this so it should be alright ( ... )

Ooh, lovely idea. I can't help but imagine Charles with a blue diamond form, given that they are the exact colour of his eyes...

The rush of Cerebro is amazing, and he closes his eyes, lost to it for as long as he can be. He's yanked from it what seems to be far too soon, breathing hard and laughing delightedly, for he's heard Hank's 'it works' and Raven's delight was singing to him the entire time. However, once he comes down from his elation, he sees all three of them giving him quite a strange look ( ... )

I almost squealed when I saw this fill, which would have been awkward because I was in a really public place at the time. Amazing start, AMAZING idea for Charles' appearance, that sounds gorgeous.

Ooooo okay, I actually didn't know about snowflake obsidian until now (/ffaaaaiilll), so I thought you meant the spiny obsidian with kind of an emerald inset XD. Both are cool though, and the picture was super helpful =P. Obsidian is awesome just in general

Charles wasn't sure what he had expected when they got to Hank's lab, but to have the needle snap inches from his skin certainly wasn't on the list. He'd always been quite resistant to medical procedures, but never before had he outright turned aside a needle. Hank tried again, resulting in another snapped needle and a perplexed group of people staring at Charles's arm, himself chief among them.

"Well this is strange. I'm wondering why it won't allow it now, when it did before..."

"Maybe it didn't," Erik said quietly. "If your telepathy was hiding your physical form from yourself, what's to say it hasn't been fooling everyone else, doctors included, into thinking things happened when they didn't?" Charles felt a little perturbed at that, since he'd never been a big fan of controlling people unless it was important. "I know how you feel, Charles," Erik said, as if Charles had projected that thought into his mind (and for all he knew, he had), "but that doesn't change the fact that it probably happened. How is your telepathy doing now ( ... )

You know, I'm not sure if it's me reading this after a while of a not or what but I've come to find I rather like Charles having this mutation, it's..I don't know, it makes him seem..like you can see his inner beauty and what'stheword...that spark he has, something only he has, on the outside, bare for all to see. And the whole thing kind of humbles him, as mentioned with Raven and realizing how she felt about having a physical mutation.
I do hope you continue this, I rather enjoy reading it.
