Charles/Erik Post-Movie

So I was driving in my car, after reading hours of fic on this kink meme, and John Mayer's song "Edge of Desire" comes on. The chorus goes like this: "Don't say a word, just come over and lie here with me/'cause i'm just about to set fire to all that I see/I want you so bad I'll go back on the things I believe/ There I just said it, I'm scared you'll forget about me."

I think John Mayer can see the future, and ships this pairing. lol

So here's my thought:
After the Divorce, there are a couple of showdowns (for whatever reason, up to the Anon) between the new X-men and Magneto's mutants. After maybe a year or so of this, filled with angst!boys who miss each other and secretly love the fights so they can see each other, Charles becomes too busy with the school, and stops going personally (up to Anon if Charles is paralyzed or not). Erik flips a shit, and realizes having his own perfect world isn't worth anything if he can't have Charles, he goes to the school, they have the angsty/fluffy showdown, sex it up, and a happy ending ensues.

If this isn't filled by the weekend, I may just write it myself, but I wanted to put it out there for other anons to write if they wanted!! I'd certainly love it!!
