“Sorry, thought I was the only one up at this hour,” Raven apologized.
“It’s ok, I don’t mind the company,” Angel smiled.
Raven wasn’t sure how it happened. Maybe it was the music or maybe it was because they were both lonely. Maybe it was because they bonded over their odd physical appearances. She wasn’t sure, but she didn’t regret what had happened that night. Lying naked on the floor with Angel on top of her. Those wings fluttering and turning Raven on even more. Angel left a wet spot on Raven’s stomach and Raven’s mouth never wanted to let that nipple go.
It continued for plenty of evenings after that. Angel’s skin was so soft and she encouraged Raven trying on many forms. Raven had never met someone who delighted so much in her mutation and she was happy to give Angel what she wanted. Especially since Angel seemed to love going down on Raven’s true form, leaving her blue flesh raw and aching for more.
An amused smiled crossed Angel’s face as she moved her hands over the chiseled male chest that was now Raven’s body. “Kinky,” she purred as she wrapped her legs around male!Raven’s waist. Raven was no stranger to how men fucked and she easily replicated the deep, hard thrusts.
Raven was worried that everyone could hear Angel’s screams of pleasure. She’d probably get a lecture from Charles tomorrow. After they finished, Raven changed back into her human form and curled up against Angel’s naked body, one hand resting on a smooth hip.
“You’re amazing,” Angel whispered before closing her eyes.
The two shared little looks and secret hand holding in public. They were sure everyone knew, but they were either too polite, too turned on or too freaked out to say anything. Then Angel got the flu (at least Raven assumed that’s what it was) so Raven played nurse maid for awhile. It was Moira who suggested the idea of pregnancy.
“Not possible, sister! I haven’t slept with a guy in months,” Angel replied.
That’s when it hit Raven. “Um…remember that night?” she gently reminded Angel and both women paled over. Moira looked confused.
“What night?” she asked.
“Um, well I shifted into a male form and um, well we had sex like that,” Raven explained.
“We should discuss this with Charles,” Moira decided, her cheeks coloring slightly from the personal information that she never needed to know.
“No way! I’m not talking about this with him! I’ll die from embarrassment!” Raven yelled.
“He’s the only one who might have any answers,” Moira pointed out.
“She's right,” Angel added and lightly touched her stomach.
“Alright,” Raven agreed, but she was already dreading it.

“I’m really not sure how this happened,” Charles finally said when his face returned to its normal color.
“Oh God, please don’t make me explain it again,” Raven groaned.
“Ah, no, there’s no need for that. I mean biologically speaking,” he clarified.
“It’s quite remarkable really,” Erik commented.
“Mmm,” Charles agreed. Normally, he would be excited, jumping up and ordering various tests. But this was his sister and this was his sister’s lover…who was currently carrying his sister’s child. This isn’t a situation he thought he would ever find himself in.
“Obviously Raven’s ability to transform goes deeper than merely a superficial level of being able to take on any appearance,” Erik said.
“Obviously,” Charles said, annoyed that Erik was making logical, intelligent sense. He should be the one saying these things. “We’ll have Hank look at Raven’s blood again, perhaps he can find something there,” he added, finally feeling like an intelligent human being again.
“I also think we should discuss what our options are with the baby,” Moira added.
Raven watched a vein throb in Erik’s forehead. “I hope you’re not suggesting what I think you are,” he said seriously.
“I think that’s something the girls should decide for themselves. This is not your child, Erik.”
Various objects began to rattle in the room.
“Erik, it’s alright,” Charles said gently.
Angel had heard of those back alley abortions that happened and there was no way she was doing that. “No way, I’m keeping it. I mean, it’s not like I’m alone in it,” she said. Erik seemed very pleased with her answer.
“Raven?” Charles asked.
“I…whatever Angel wants is fine with me,” she replied.
“But what do you want?” Moira pressed.
Raven shrugged her shoulders because she didn’t know. She hadn’t fully wrapped her mind around it yet. Angel squeezed Raven’s thigh and mouthed that it was ok.
“I guess we need to tell the others,” Charles said and Raven groaned again.

“How the hell do two girls make a baby?” Sean pushed out through his laughter.
Hank coughed then excused himself and went to his lab.
“I’m guessing some freaky stuff happened in the bedroom,” Alex grinned.
“Yes, that is quite enough,” Charles said. “The point is that Angel and Raven have decided to keep the baby within our little family and we should be supportive.”
“Sure, man,” Sean shrugged and Alex nodded.
Angel’s pregnancy accelerated a little faster than a normal, human one. She was already three months advanced when a normal woman would only be one month along.
“Hey, at least I don’t have to suffer through the whole nine months,” Angel grinned.
During the second trimester, Raven felt the baby kick and it fully dawned on her that she was going to be a parent. She started to envy the fact that Angel got to carry their child. Angel said that they had plenty of willing male donors if Raven wanted to try for it later. Charles almost choked on his tea.
Hank had offered to keep track of the pregnancy to make sure that Angel and the baby were ok. Upon analyzing Raven’s blood again, he had discovered that she possessed the ability to shift her entire biological makeup when she transformed and not just her outward appearance. Erik gloated at the fact that he had been right.
A few months had past when Raven had been fast asleep with her arm around Angel’s swollen belly when the pregnant woman suddenly woke up.
“I’m going into labor!”

“What is it?” Angel panted when she heard the baby cry.
“If you say it’s a mutant, I’m going to punch you so hard,” Raven told Hank.
He gave her a smile. “It’s a boy…and a mutant.”
“He looks just like you!” Angel exclaimed when they saw the baby’s blue skin. Raven started to cry.
Charles pulled her to him and pressed his forehead against hers. “You should be very proud,” he told her gently.
“I am, I am,” Raven sniffled as she squeezed his hand. The others had already gathered around Angel in order to get a better look at the baby. Alex went to touch him when a tail darted out and slapped his hand away.
“He has a tail!” Angel laughed.
“Extraordinary,” Erik commented.
“Go and hold your son,” Charles told Raven.
Angel handed their son to Raven, who cradled him against her chest. He had blue skin, yellow eyes, a tail, three fingers on each hand and feet that reminded Raven of a velociraptor. She was sure a regular human would be horrified, but to Raven, he couldn’t have been more perfect. She gently touched his nose and one of his claw like hands wrapped around her finger and his tail wrapped around her wrist. She started to cry again.

Raven jumped slightly when Kurt suddenly dangled in front of her, hanging from one of the pipes in the lab. He let out a delighted laugh.
“He’s right there,” Hank laughed.
“I wish you hadn’t taught him how to hang just yet,” Raven replied.
“He’s smart, he would have figured it out sooner or later,” Hank pointed out.
“Kurt, you shouldn’t transport when Uncle Charles is giving you a lesson,” Raven chided gently before she opened her arms to her son.
“He was probably bored,” Hank smiled.
“Not the point, Hank!”
The three year old climbed into her arms, his little claws resting on her shoulders. His tail curled around her middle. He mumbled an apology and Raven could never stay mad at him for very long. He had inherited Angel’s mischievous side and his favorite trick was to suddenly pop in front of someone’s face and almost startle them to death. Although he had only pulled that stunt with Erik once. He was also a curious, intelligent and sweet child and Raven was so thankful that he could grow up around other mutants and not be tormented by the outside world.
“Come on, let’s go find Mama,” Raven said and Kurt took his usual place on her back.
Angel was buzzing around the grounds and swooped down, making a perfect landing when she saw her wife and child. She gave them both a kiss.
“I thought someone had a lesson,” Angel said.
“He decided to hang out in Hank’s lab instead.”
“I don’t blame him.”
Raven took Angel’s hand and the two walked inside. Kurt took a mighty leap off Raven’s back then disappeared with a cloud of black smoke.
“Ughh, I wonder where he went now,” Raven groaned and she received her answer in the form of a mighty scream from Banshee. Her and Angel exchanged a smile.
