[FILL] The colour of danger (or Colour coordination is very important to Sebastian Shaw) rei_kurasaki June 21 2011, 15:08:39 UTC
There are some days, that if Schmidt was honest with himself, really really honest with himself, he would admit that he would give up his ability to absorb energy.

These thoughts don’t come often, only occasionally. Perhaps once a week, sometimes he can go months without this itching feeling, of knowing he can’t change anything.

It’s very frustrating.

It pisses him off.

Because no matter how you look at it, red constantly clashes with white. Case in point: the interior of the submarine was white. Azazel was red. Clearly a problem. And problems, Schmi- no, Shaw, thinks, are meant to be fixed. What he would give to be able to change Azazel’s skin colour to a nice pale shade of red. Not this...bright crimson skin.

“Azazel, are you sure you can’t change the colour of your skin?” He asks lazily, and toys with the idea of just killing the mutant off. Just so the interior colours match. From across the room, Emma glances at him, blue eyes slightly wide. Riptide goes still - he knows what happen when Shaw asks questions like these, and they usually don’t turn out well. Azazel looks at him, really looks at Shaw, and shakes his head. He can read no fear in the mutant’s eyes.

They are three hundred feet underneath the Arctic Ice Caps and Shaw wonders if he can shove Azazel out of the submarine fast enough to drown before he teleports away to some sunny island in Asia. Instead, Shaw laughs a heartbeat later and shrugs, breaking the tension in the sub, “well then, I guess we’ll have to add some red chairs to our interior after our trip to Cuba.”

Azazel nods, and turns back to his instruments. Shaw can still read no fear from the man.

[...sorry OP, this was meant to start off cracky. it. obviously didn't happen.]

This is so short, but made me laugh. Or Shaw, you're a fabulous bastard, aren't you?

When he asked about Azazel's skin the "Oh My God Shaw you can't just ask people to change their skin tone..." commet came to my mind. Huh XD
