(no subject)
so i went to the shelter today and there was a new child. 9 year old girl. completely beautiful. theres a lot i'd like to say about what this makes me thing about but i'll leave it at this:
we're sitting together at the table painting and i'm mentioning how tired i am and that i could take a 3 hour nap and then go to sleep for the night just a few hours later... so this little girl says "i can stay up until 4 am! i can stay awake until its light out." and i laughed a bit and asked if shed ever stayed up all night and she said yes proudly and i instantly think back to slumber parties when i was about six or seven with my best friend vicky. so she says next "yea with my mom at the bus station." so you know .. it makes you think
