In Georgia, you can exempt the Basic Skills test of the GACE test (we formerly used PRAXIS) if you have a certain SAT score and above. In the county I want to teach, if you don't have a teaching certificate, the school can sponsor your certification and put you in an initial certification program while teaching. In order to do this, you have to have passed the subject area test and passed or exempted from the Basic Skills test. To show that you're exempt from the basic skills test, you have to show documentation of your SAT score.
I'm pretty sure that my highest scoring SAT was done in 2003 and I cannot figure out how to get copies of my score mailed to me. Has anyone else had to retrieve their SAT scores from several years ago? How did you get them?
I have a job fair at the end of February and I'd like to take my scores to show schools that I'm exempt!
