So. Con report.
Yeah, I know it's been nearly a month since Anime Expo, and I was too lazy to do a report before now. But I'm heading off to SDCC tomorrow morning, so I figured I should put something up. Whatever.
DAY TWO - SATURDAY, JUNE 30th
Woke up retardedly late, got my costume on, went to pick up Misa-neechan. Mum drove us, and we watched the first episode of Black Lagoon on the way. ^_^ Once we got there: the line was stupidly long. I saw Peter as we were getting out of the car, but he didn't hear us calling him. Then it turns out I'm the only one who pre-reg'd. Woo. So I get my badge, then wait with Lenny, Peter, Jojo, and one of Peter's friends (hereby referred to as Jesus, as that was his costume. He was effing awesome.) for Jojo to get his badge. THEN, once that was over, I waited again with Misa for her badge, and it was noon by the time we were ready to hit the con proper.
After getting lost temporarily (stfu, the convention center in Long Beach is huge), we started at the Artist's Alley.
KURONEKO has leveled up!

2 new badges from the Scuttlebutt Inc. table (Ichigo/Ishida and Axel/Roxas)
1 pin (Yachiru biting Ikkaku. It says "Chibi Chomp" ^_^) and 1 copy of the Division 14 doujin Kira Kira Boushi (last copy ever, hell yes!) from the Strawberry Lemonade/Division 14 table

After hanging out with Toboe and his brother for a bit, lots of cosplay photography, and a ridiculously overpriced lunch, we met up with Lenny and co. in the dealers' room. COMPLETE AND UTTER LACK OF DEATH NOTES FOR SALE. WTF. I did, however, get totally lost twice. lolz.
And gained the most amazing photo ever taken. I'll post a picspam of both AX and SDCC in a few days.
Immediately after exiting the dealer's room, Jesus and I took off for the game room, which Lenny and Peter had already ditched us for. We chatted for a while with a quite amusing Shigure cosplayer, and then...
...then it was off to the event that would completely change my con experience, for better or for worse.
The Risembool Rangers Meeting.
Now, I am not exactly a fan of Vic Mignogna. He's a decent actor - and he totally pwned as Kurz in FMP - but most of his fangirls, quite frankly, scare me. Lenny, however, is a Ranger, and she said it would be fun. (plus, I didn't really have anything else to do.)
How was I to know that she was totally right?
The woman running the meeting - her badge identified her as Riza Mustang, but she was dressed as Seras from Hellsing - told everyone to line up so she could get a head count. I ended up next to a group of four or so cosplayers: Rukia from Bleach, a ridiculously tiny Edward Elric with a lightsaber, a KHII Sora with...cat ears and a bell...
And Xemnas.
Now, in the head count, I just happened to be the seventh person. I turned to Xemnas and asked who Number VII was, because I totally fail at remembering things.
As all of you know, if you've played KHII - and you should, the 7th member of the Organization is Saïx.
Xemnas turned out to be super-nice, and this led us to a conversation about the Organization, the pairings contained within, and how Saïx is totally Xemnas' lapdog. Somehow, we decided that I would cosplay as Saïx next year, and we could hang out together.
Eventually, the meeting began to dissolve into...people being silly. The main point of this was that me and Kitty-Sora fought endlessly over Xemnas, and at some point, a leash showed up. And there was much molestation. Yey.
The silliness included us dragging Xemnas over to Jesus to get her baptized, which was more like trying to get a cat in a bath. And led to the immortal line, "ARGH I NEED TO GO SODOMIZE SOMETHING. LIKE RIGHT NOW." Immediately after, I volunteered, but was quickly thwarted by Sora. >_>
Also? A picture of Xemnas-sama (unfortunately out of costume, because I don't have the others yet). Just so you can all picture how awesome she is. (taken and captioned by Reili, who I'll get to later)
After much silliness, Xemnas and I were finally sitting down for a moment. The conversation was something along these lines.
Xem: Hey, I forgot to ask. What's your orientation.
Me: Bi. You?
Xem: Lesbian.
Me: *nod*
Xem: Hey...would you like to be my con girlfriend?
Me: *shocked and blushing* ...of course.
*they share a smile*
Xem: *takes my hand*
IT WAS LIKE SOMETHING OUT OF MARIA-SAMA GA MITERU. BUT WITH LESS ANGST.
