Koichi gives the customer a longsuffering look, and wonders if the universe delights in throwing weirdly attractive, hayashi-rice-seeking guys in his general direction.
"Maybe later," the guy says, grinning. "I'll come back tomorrow." He waves. Koichi watches the door shut behind him.
"He was cute," Shizuna comments, nodding at the guy making his way down the street. Koichi jumps at his little sister's voice.
"Looks like Aniki thinks so too, ne?" Taisuke snickers.
"Shouldn't you be at work?" Koichi asks desperately.
"Awwww. He's blushing, Shii, look."
"He only wants you for your recipe book, Kou-nii," Shizuna says with mock-seriousness. Taisuke cackles.
Sometimes Koichi really hates his siblings.

"Sorry." Aiba's voice is small, muffled.
"Nothing to apologize for," Jun says, setting the mug of Chinese tea on the nightstand and sitting down on Aiba's bed. "It's not your fault you're sick."
"But it's Christmas," Aiba whines. "We finally had time to go out and I ruined it. Nino and Captain are probably going out somewhere-"
"Nino and Captain," Jun says dismissively, "are probably having sex as we speak and you know it. Now stop worrying and get some rest or you'll never get well." His tone is stern, but he kisses Aiba's forehead, smiling. Aiba giggles softly.
"Merry Christmas, Jun-chan."
"Happy birthday, Masaki."
