It is my experience that those who lose one sense, make a greater effort to see, or hear the world around them. Perhaps only unconsciously, but truth nonetheless.
Dream is many things; He is lord of the Dreaming, yet a servant to it. He is a crystallization of the unconscious, and it's creator. He presides over all stories, poems, and forgotten lore that ever was. He is an Endless.
....And, ultimately undefinable on mortal terms. Perhaps it is best to confine the conception only to 'The King of Dreams'.

It could just be that I have sensitive hearing, though. You know what they say, when one sense fails, the others work overtime.

Why do you want so much quiet? Are you a writer, or a poet perhaps?

You may have heard of me, in that case, if you're familiar with the story The Snow Queen.

I have, indeed.
((OOC: I, however, haven't read it all yet. Be gentle?))

((OOC: Don't worry, Kay of Fables isn't 100% consistent with the story anyways. He isn't gonna quiz Morphy on details. ))

'Morpheus' is the name most use for me, here.

After a time, it simply became commonplace, as a way to refer to me without involving any of Dream's titles.
...I suppose it is my 'name', now. In a way.

It is a complicated story, but suffice to say I am Dream no longer.
Rather, a memory of what Dream once was.
Or, if you prefer, simply 'Morpheus'.
