I miss....
And so we're back.. not from outer space ( ha ha) but from a wonderful trip in Singapore. Despite the (very) trying 8.5hr flight from Sin to Syd + 2 hr transit in Syd + 3 hr flight to New Cal + 1 hr drive to Noumea (alone with coughing & runny nose & as a result, sometimes grumpy Josh) , it was well worth it!!! There's really nothing like home :)
I miss ...
1) my lovely little getaway to Bkk. For 3 days, I found my freedom again ( sans Josh , sans motherhood/spousal responsibilities). I got a taste of what it was like just to care for myself. Ohh.. and what a wonderful feeling that was!! As much as I missed Josh, it was a great break. Thanks Lingpie & fav-green-apple for being superb travelling partners
2) my family & friends. Don't need to say more... you know who you are and how much you mean to me :) Thanks for making every trip.. every day in fact, meaningful and happy. Distance never left a mark on our relationships & friendships and that, says ALOT!!!
3) Teh siew dai.. why can't they drink Teh instead of espresso here??????????????
4) Ya Kun kaya toast ( with teh of cos)
5)going out.. movies.. coffee... talking nonsense with friends ( ha ha)
6) speaking English
7)rojak ( the one in wisma food court is tops!!)
8) cheng teng cold ( plaza sing foodcourt)
9) having good, reliable public transport
10) in a nutshell, Singapore...
Oh well, tell the next trip home!!!! :)
