Ok, finally well rested enough to post some of the whale photos from last Friday.. It was really an amazing sight - praise the Lord for His wonderful creations! I actually held my breath when the 1st whale appeared and exhaled. And I screamed when they started to jump and flip. We spent almost 6 hours out at sea spotting them.... it was an

We actually got a good deal , abt S$120 per person from 8am-5pm which is a much longer outing than other companies. And check this out - I made curry & fried rice to bring on board for lunch and offered it to our skipper Fred. He loved it, took 3 helpings and gave us a 10% disc. ha ha ha
my mum's going back Sept 20. She'll miss Josh to bits.. that's sure! Despite her nagging, it's nice to be "mummied" by someone... to be the kid again ;)

But no worries, we can see other things - we can fish, hopefully there're dolphins... it's just a wonderful feeling to be out at sea. Very peaceful & calm ( provided weather is good & waters are calm).
Yep.. you can "detox" here from your korean dramas and partying, ha ha. Over here, there're more trees than people. More birds, dogs ( NO cats , ha ha) boats than people. You can go for days without talking to anyone.... something you never ever do in Sg!

Then my mum helped me feed him lunch and we stopped at a small island on the way back so he got to do his fav thing - pick shells, throw, splash water etc etc
And ec took care of him most of the time - my "off" day! Josh loves boats so it's quite easy.
Josh is ok outdoors so far... it's when we're trapped indoors the whole day during bad weather that he gets cranky and I wanna "Long biah" !!!( bang my head against the wall)
