Grouses

I know I'll probably regret saying this sometime down the road but I'm gonna say it anyway for now - I wish Josh can walk. It's really annoying me how he's leeching on to my leg (almost) all the time & I have to drag him along , esp when I'm cooking or doing housework.
Daddy thinks it's a loving gesture ( "Oh but don't you feel loved?") - yah right, see if you feel loved or loathe when he's tugging at your pants ALL DAY, 24/7.

It's like losing the use of 1 leg or having a 12kg growth on it!

Last night was exhausting - Josh had a horrible night. I had to go to him at least 10x , even tho I did let him cry for 5-10m just to see if he just needed to vent out his leftover energy. The problem now is Josh still thinks his cot is a playground - he stands up and throws EVERYTHING out, just for fun. And he can throw things across the room at this age. Sheesh... monster.

I know it's our fault - all that travelling and make shift sleeping arrangements for the 8 months. He's never been settled well , since birth actually. Sigh, that's why I dont' fault him but last night he was really pushing it. If I could have it my way, I'd just let Josh sleep on the floor till he's old enough for a junior bed.

I also wonder if this is the textbook case of not napping well in the day resulting in even worse sleep at night. He only napped for an hour the whole of yesterday.

Anyway, I'm praying hard that tonight will be better - it's been a long time since I had such an exhausting night so I guess these old bones aren't used to it anymore ( how to have No.2 ???)

Ok, now that I've let it all out... here's the Monster attacking his apple. he's recently learnt to chomp things off - eg bite a chunk of apple ( but I mash it up a bit first cos apples are hard), bite off a chunk of banana, bite off chucks of baguette....

I shall do something today to TIRE him out! dear Lord, pls bless us with good , dry, sunny weather!
