Well, it’s been almost three months since the surgery and I can now more or less pick up my camera. I’m still not all that steady but I don’t have pain and it’s relatively stable anyway.

A lot has changed since my previous post. Spring has changed it an all out hot and humid NYC summer with rain on its way due to moisture saturation level. Mars bar has once again changed their mural and the now defunct pet shop has painted the gate grey to try and hide all the graffiti. Still no news as to what might actually be going in there though.

The big new however is that the community center and surrounding buildings have all been knocked down. No signs are up yet about what kind of high rise is going into the now vacant lot, but one could at least hope for some semblance of community spirit that that building once represented. There is always hope.
