and then the cattiness ensued...

howdy do my little ducks
well, eleni's party was quite fun, we drove down to ventura to have dinner at The Greek (can anyone guess why? give you a clue: eleni has been called the little greek olive...) and on the way I was in the car with ceci and monica. I'm sure all of the girls know what I'm talking about when I say that we carried on a normal conversation, but there were times when veiled insults and "I'm annoyed with you" looks actively participated. I realized that looking a best friend in the face and trying to keep the momentary hatred out of your eyes is an acquired skill, and one that I have mastered with difficulty over the years, but mastered nonetheless.

We arrived at the restaurant, where the food was great, the belly dancer orgasmic, and the old fogies tip giving. I must also add that our waiter was quite possibly the hottest waiter I have ever met. Quite charming as well. The belly dancer gave way to our waiter along with a few others doing Greek dances, which is, in a word, hothothot. Ahhhhh... yeah. So eleni and a few of her friends from church (greek orthodox church, they happened to be there) decided that they wanted to dance, and dragged our sorry white butts onto the dance floor and taught us how to dance...kinda. I caught on half way through the song and was quite motivated when our hotttttt waiter decided to join us. My skills improved quite notably after that. I received two voice messages over the course of our dinner that made me giggle with delight, because of which I was subsequently interrogated about, which reminds me that I forgot to brief the group on my status with a certain male individual. No matter. The subject will arise again. hennyway.

On the way home I once again rode with ceci and monica, and the ride was less than the most pleaseant thing on earth. I suppose we were all cranky, but the bitchiness was far from veiled this time. Oh, eleni was in the car too, so at least I had someone to text message when I got really aggravated. The drive included me being silence while trying to sing "a little fall of rain" from les mis, and ceci launching into an impromptu story about a penguin named Jorje and a polar bear named fred, of which everyone soon grew tired and began to complain. This caused her to become greatly aggravated and shut herself off from the world in that way that she's so notorious for. Oh well.

Upon getting home eleni opened her presents (during which I'm sorry to say I was very rude and kept checking my voicemails) I hope she liked mine, which consisted of a skirt, a book on chocolate, chocolate, bath and body works stuff, and bath tea bags (don't ask if you don't understand). Anyways, we then looked a photo albums and reminisced about 8th grade. Ceci told me repeatedly to get my hands off the photo album even though they were barely touching the page, which signaled that she was still pissy about something. I really don't care right now (ahh the bitch shows herself...)

And now I'm home. Quick chat with a friend, and now livejournal combined with online clothes browsing. good fun, good fun.

Other notes:
I'm on antibiotics, and I have a voice lesson scheduled for Monday, so hopefully I'll be all right by then! yeay!!!!

My mom wanted to take me to LA today to shop and pamper me (of course the real reason she wanted to go was to make an appearance in the social circles down there to make herself reputable as Moshe's fiance, not because she cares about me at all) but I refused to go to eleni's party. There goes a perfectly good chance at conned clothing. I'll get her yet, just you watch.

I want to do something cool this spring break.

yeah that looks like about it duckies

oh. I finally had to clean out my memory card on my digital camera. I chose to delete the oldest photos, the ones of a few days before 8th grade graduation and of grad itself. Even though I knew the pictures were safe on my dad's computer and they really weren't needed on my memory card, I almost cried deleting them. I felt like I was deleting little pieces of myself.
