Light Yagami x L (Ryuzaki), Death Note [slash.]

Apr 01, 2010 20:06

Fandom: Death Note
Pairing: Light/L (Ryuzaki)
Theme set: Delta
Title: The Chemicals Between Us
Rating: G-hard R
Warning[s]: Slash, consensual rough sex, unexpected fluff, general freakiness.
Notes: I tend to use the name "Ryuzaki" rather than "L," since the sentences are a bit skewed towards being from Light's perspective. I also love the idea of these two being total freaks in all regards, so if you don't like the idea of two guys strangling each other and loving it, then, uh, don't click that lj-cut. ^_^

Air
It takes a bit of trial and error, but Light soon learns how to read Ryuzaki’s signals, and he is able to loosen the chain right before the other passes out from lack of oxygen- it’s best when they both wait until the last possible moment.

Apples
When he’s Kira, it’s so easy to tease Ryuzaki- Did you know gods of death loves apples?- but as Light Yagami, he can never quite shake the feeling that he’s the one being teased.

Beginning
To think that it all started with a treacherous glance, a twist of the mouth and a beckoning hand.

Bugs
In a fit of entomological whimsy, Ryuzaki concludes that Light has the beauty of a butterfly, the tenacity of a cockroach, and the soul of a spider.

Coffee
Light watches as Ryuzaki tears all six sugar packets at once and tips them into his mug, a shimmering waterfall that will stain his lips with crystal.

Dark
Ryuzaki insists on keeping the lights turned off until he has explored every inch of Light’s body with his fingertips and he is able to identify him by touch alone.

Despair
The longer the Kira case drags on, the hungrier and more desperate Ryuzaki becomes, until every kiss is a bite and every caress is punctuated by a violent blow.

Doors
Light soon learns that a locked door is not enough to hold Ryuzaki at bay when he really sets his mind to something.

Drink
Sometimes Light wishes that he could melt Ryuzaki into a liquid, pour him into a glass, and consume him, body and soul.

Duty
“I am sworn to destroy you,” Ryuzaki whispers in Light’s ear when he thinks he’s asleep, and he catches the glimmer of a smile right before the fist connects with his face.

Earth
The world could end, but at this moment, neither of them would notice.

End
Light holds one thin wrist between his fingers in the imitation of a caress, but they both know that he’s imagining the day when he no longer feels that stubborn pulse.

Fall
Light doesn’t even think to check for a trip wire, and as soon as he hits the ground, Ryuzaki perches on his back and digs in his toes like tree roots.

Fire
Neither is willing to give the other the satisfaction of winning, so they both hold their hands in the candle flames until the skin bubbles and splits and their nostrils fill with the stench of burning flesh.

Flexible
Light didn’t think that a human spine could bend that way, and he couldn’t be happier to be proven wrong.

Flying
Light asks him what he’s thinking about when he closes his eyes, but Ryuzaki feels too much a fool to tell the truth.

Food
The taste of Ryuzaki’s mouth is too sweet to describe.

Foot
Under the conference table, Light feels something long and slender stroking insistently between his legs- no one else at the meeting seems to notice that only one of Ryuzaki’s knees is visible, only one foot perched harmlessly on his chair.

Grave
With Ryuzaki pinned under his body, Light traces text onto the headboard of the bed: Here Lies L.

Green
On Ryuzaki’s back, an old bruise turns yellow while a new bruise throbs purple-blue, and where the borders overlap there’s a stripe the color of springtime.

Head
When the sun catches his hair in the early morning, Ryuzaki looks so much like a bird that Light can’t help imagining him taking flight and leaving them all behind.

Hollow
With a skillful tongue, Light laps up the sweat that collects in the hollow points of Ryuzaki’s body- the channels between his ribs, the small of his back, and the sweet dip of his collarbone.

Honor
He promises himself that it in no way constitutes a surrender, as he rolls onto his back and exposes his tender belly to Light Yagami’s eager mouth.

Hope
At the haunting stroke of midnight, Ryuzaki can almost convince himself that it’s not true.

Light
Despite his slender appearance, Light is still surprised the first time Ryuzaki trusts him with his full weight- a burden even less than he imagined.

Lost
After the funeral, Light sits at his chessboard, facing an empty chair.

Metal
Ryuzaki catches Light’s tongue in his teeth and refuses to let go until he tastes copper.

New
When Light proposes the new position, Ryuzaki takes a moment to contemplate the physics, then asks, “How much do you weigh?”

Old
It’s better for Ryuzaki to die while he’s in his prime- it would be a shame to see that lithe body twisted with age.

Peace
They both cry out at once, and then for one moment, there is perfect silence.

Poison
It’s too late- Light’s venom is already coursing through his veins, and it’s only a matter of time.

Pretty
Ryuzaki’s hands are fine and delicate, but not quite beautiful.

Rain
Their drenched bodies press together, and the heat is so intense that Light wonders how steam does not rise from their backs, where the cold rain sizzles against their burning skin.

Regret
Light only wishes he could have been fucking Ryuzaki from the moment he met him- it seems such a pity to look back on all the wasted time.

Roses
When Light sees that Ryuzaki has managed to restrain himself and leave a handful of strawberries in the bowl, he realizes that this is the closest he’ll ever get to a romantic gesture.

Secret
Light carves the words into Ryuzaki’s back with his fingernails- I am Kira- before destroying the confession with deep, frantic slashes that make the other scream.

Snakes
Ryuzaki strikes, sinking his teeth into the back of Light’s neck at the moment of climax.

Snow
He makes a show of annoyance, but the truth is that he doesn’t mind carrying Ryuzaki on his back, protecting those precious feet from frostbite.

Solid
He wants Ryuzaki to retreat under the force of the kiss, but while small, he turns out to be surprisingly difficult to push anywhere.

Spring
When he opens the door, he does not expect to see Ryuzaki crouched, cat-like, in the entryway- nor does he expect him to spring in a gleeful pounce that brings both of them to the floor in a heap of tangled limbs.

Stable
Every time Ryuzaki checks Light’s pulse, it is within five beats of his average BPM- he doesn’t know if he should find that encouraging or alarming.

Strange
When the members of the task force discuss Ryuzaki’s peculiar habits, Light hides a smirk and suppresses the urge to say, You don’t know the half of it.

Summer
Although the warm weather drives Light into short-sleeved shirts, he is disappointed when Ryuzaki continues to wear the baggy clothing that disguises his gracefully thin figure.

Taboo
The only rule is that there are no rules- neither is allowed to refuse.

Ugly
Contradicted once too often, Ryuzaki flashes his teeth in a snarl so stark and cruel that it silences the whole team- except Light, who continues to contradict him until he forgets his anger and starts to enjoy the challenge.

War
At some point, it goes from playful wrestling to a full-blown fight, and by the time Ryuzaki pins Light to the floor, both are covered in rug burns and bruises, and both are so hard that they are barely aware of anything else.

Water
The muscles of Ryuzaki’s back roll and shift like the tide, and Light could lose himself in the ocean between his shoulder blades.

Welcome
For the longest time, Light merely accepts Ryuzaki into him, passive and seemingly disinterested- until one dark night, when Ryuzaki nudges between his legs and Light unexpectedly cants up his hips in anticipation.

Winter
Once all the leaves have fallen, Ryuzaki loses interest in climbing trees and Light must figure out where his new hiding place is located.

Wood
Light is convinced that pieces of Ryuzaki have snapped off like splinters and burrowed under his skin, and the harder he tries to dig them out, the deeper they go.
