Fandom: Firefly
Pairing: Simon Tam/Jayne Cobb
Theme set: Epsilon
Rating: NC-17
Obviously these are all slash.
#01 - Motion
Jayne Cobb had been lying on his bunk, staring up at the ceiling and trying to come up with new words and insults with which to describe Serenity's new doctor, but all he'd managed so far was 'poetry in motion' and that didn't seem nearly as insulting as he'd hoped for.
#02 Cool
The sound of a cap being popped, the touch of cool gel against his anus and the smell of freshly unwrapped condom made Simon gasp with need as Jayne pushed him face down onto the medical bed growling, "Shoot me full of tranquilliser would ya?"
#03 - Young
At first Simon had seemed too young and naive to warrant Jayne's interest, but that was before the doc had showed up in Jayne's bunk, naked, horny and bearing a jug of rice wine.
#04 - Last
Simon threw off his clothes and raced towards the swimming hole, yelling over his shoulder to Jayne, "Last one in bottoms for a month!"
#05 - Wrong
Simon clutched the sheets and moaned wretchedly, desperately trying to work out how something so wrong could feel so wonderfully right!
#06 - Gentle
Simon's fingers worked quickly and proficiently on the ragged wound, but Jayne found himself unable to tear his gaze away from the doctor's gentle ministrations, nor could he stop imagining those long, skilled fingers working on other parts of his anatomy.
#07 - One
"All this to find ONE tube of lubricant?" Simon wailed, looking from the bombsite that used to be his nice, tidy infirmary, to the smirking face of his new lover.
#08 - Thousand
"If I travel a million miles, visit a thousand planets, sleep in a hundred fancy hotel beds, never will I be so comfortable as I am right now, lying in his arms on his single bunk in the dark, listening the Serenity's engines thrum."
#09 - King
"I look at them fancy clothes, and that soft skin, all clean and unblemished like, and I think he's too good for me; like he's a king or something, but then he smiles, and I figure it don't matter what I think so long as he wants me."
#10 - Learn
Some lessons take longer to learn than others, but as Simon closes his eyes and sinks to his knees at the side of Jayne's bunk, inhaling the strong masculine odour of sex and sweat, he decides that the extra practice sure wouldn't hurt.
#11 - Blur
Everything was a blur; from the moment he tipped back the third glass of rice wine to the part where he woke up naked and covered in unidentifiable substances on Jayne's bunk, but one thing that he did remember was that it had been good enough to repeat sometime when he was sober.
#12 - Wait
Letting go is never a problem for Jayne; only holding back is hard, especially with Simon pounding his ass so violently, but when Simon begs him to wait, he grits his teeth and tries real hard, because Simon is worth it.
#13 - Change
The change from distain and distrust to need and desire occurred so gradually that Jayne barely felt it happen, but one day he woke up and realized he had to get them off the ship before he made a complete fool of himself with doctor 'pretty mouth'.
#14 - Command
Jayne thinks he's in command, that he's the one in charge, until Simon pulls the surgical restraints out of his bag and holds them aloft, smiling the filthiest smile Jayne has ever seen.
#15 - Hold
As darkness falls and the frost takes hold, he wriggles closer to Jayne's back and tries to cover as much of the unconscious man as he can with his body until rescue comes, or until the cold kills them, whichever comes first.
#16 - Need
Jayne's prided himself on his self-sufficiency all these years but now he has a need, a desire that burns him inside and out, yet leaves him cold and empty because Simon is someone he can never have.
#17 - Vision
"Well, there's nothing wrong with your vision," Simon clicks off the penlight and places it on the tray with a frustrated sigh, "so again I have to ask you, why the hell did you kiss me and call me baby the moment you regained consciousness?"
#18 - Attention
It's Simon's attention to detail that impresses Jayne the most, as the doctor licks his way over every inch of the mercenary's chest, taking care not to miss a single spot.
#19 - Soul
Sometimes, in pure flights of fancy, he imagines Simon's soul as something made from pure and shining light, until the doctor takes it into his pretty head to go down on Jayne or use some filthy cuss words in bed, which effectively puts an end to that fantasy and starts a whole new one.
#20 - Picture
If a picture paints a thousand words, then how come the abiding image of Simon that Jayne carries in his head after their first night together leaves him speechless?
#21 - Fool
"I'd be a ruttin' fool to fall for ya," Jayne mutters under his breath, knowing that it's already too late to be worrying about such things when Simon is swallowing him whole and making such delicious noises deep in his throat.
#22 - Mad
Sometimes, Jayne baits him on purpose, plays practical jokes just to get him mad, throws out insults and barbs, because there's nothing quite so hot as watching cool and collected Doctor Tam loose control of his temper.
#23 - Child
The child within him remembers the attack as if it were yesterday, and even though he's now a man, he still craves the reassurance of a human touch when the nightmare begins, so he reaches out and Simon takes his hand in the darkness and all is well again.
#24 - Now
"Now," he moans, writhing helplessly on the narrow bed, "Now, please!" and then he's being filled slowly, achingly, and he reaches up to trace Jayne's parted lips.
#25 - Shadow
A shadow falls across his face as he lies in darkness of Jayne's bunk and wonders how long he can maintain this fragile happiness.
#26 - Goodbye
Simon climbs into the shuttle, and with one hand guiding River through the low door, he looks over his shoulder, shocked to see Jayne leaning on the wall with the others, looking stoic even though he'd said last night that he wouldn't be here to say goodbye.
#27 - Hide
Simon managed to hide the gift right up until Christmas eve, when Jayne had ransacked the infirmary supposedly looking for a band-aid and then barrelled into his room with a stupid smile on his face saying "Doc, I know this gun ain't for your own personal use, so I gotta ask myself what sort of message you're sending me?"
#28 - Fortune
The gun cost a small fortune, but Simon had pulled Jayne's name out of the pot for Secret Santa and it was the only thing he knew for sure the merc wanted, apart form Simon's ass that was, and he was saving that gift for New Year's.
#29 - Safe
He knows that 'safe' is a relative term, and that here on Serenity at least, while they have the protection of the crew, he's not so sure about Jayne Cobb, and wonders what he might need to offer the merc to keep River safe.
#30 - Ghost
Lips ghost across his, stealing his breath, smothering the protest before it can form, and he lets it happen, because right here and now, all he needs is the weight of Jayne's body, pressing him down into the mattress.
#31 - Book
"I think Shepherd Book knows about us," Simon whispers against Jayne's left nipple and Jayne wonders if fucking Simon in the communal shower was what gave it away.
#32 - Eye
Even with one eye covered by the bandage, Jayne can see that Simon is the most beautiful, shiny angel in all the heavens... or maybe that's jest the painkillers talkin'?
#33 - Never
"Never say never, my mama used to say, and even though I never thought I'd bed another guy, Simon makes the whole thing kinda easy, so once again, my old ma was right, Gorram her!"
#34 - Sing
"You want me to sing a love song to you?" Jayne whined, eyeing the bunch of prairie flowers Simon was holding out to him with disgust, while backing away from the evil bastard who had won the bet fairly and squarely.
#35 - Sudden
It's not the falling in love part that I object to, Simon thought as he lay in the circle of Jayne's arms, but the sudden stop when I hit the cold light of reality that's going to hurt like hell.
#36 - Stop
"Stop," Simon gasped, pushing at the wall of hot, sweating, trembling flesh above him, "not in the gorram cargo bay, Jayne, someone will see us!"
#37 - Time
They always thought there would be time enough for everything, for all the promises and the dreams, but in the end it ran out for them with the resonating sound of a gun blast and the crimson bloom of death.
#38 - Wash
Wash saw them necking and told Zoe, who told Inara, who told Mal and before another day had passed, Simon found himself the guest of honor at an impromptu engagement party, with Jayne his blushing bride-to-be.
#39 - Torn
Torn flesh, mutilated beyond recognition, the smell of death permeates the air, but Simon ignores it and works frantically to save the victim's life while Jayne mops away his sweat with the torn hem of his favourite t-shirt.
#40 - History
Simon smiles warmly at his old friend from his days on Osiris as they share a drink in the tavern, and Jayne bites back his jealousy, wondering what sort of history these two share.
#41 - Power
It's taken months for Jayne to agree to this, but now that he finally capitulates, now that he's on his hands and knees with Simon behind him, he discovers that for the first time in this relationship, he actually has all the power.
#42 - Bother
He'd tried to create an ambience in the dining room, complete with candles, real food and a bottle of expensive wine, but Jayne had swept it all aside and thrown him down on the table top with a lusty leer so Simon had merely sighed and muttered "Why do I even bother?" against Jayne's throat.
#43 - God
Simon knows that Mal no longer believes in God, and in truth, he often questions the existence of such a deity himself, but as he watches Jayne's face slacken with pleasure and impending orgasm, he thanks God anyway for this amazing gift, just incase.
#44 - Wall
Jayne had created a wall between them for his own sanity, but Simon easily scaled the wall and stood in the garden of Jayne's subconscious mind, panting and asking for his ball back please?
#45 - Naked
Much though he adores River, Simon often wished for a brother to wrestle with as he was growing up, but as he'd pinned to the bed yet again by almost 250 pounds of sweating, naked mercenary, he admits this wasn't quite what he had in mind.
#46 - Drive
Simon held onto the headboard tightly as Jayne slammed repeatedly into him for behind, each thrust angled to drive Simon out of his mind with desire.
#47 - Harm
Simon would do anything to keep her safe from harm, even if that meant giving himself to the mercenary to ensure his co-operation like some cheap whore.
#48 - Precious
Jayne kept the most precious of his possessions in a locked trunk at the foot of his bunk, or at least that was true for the inanimate ones; the living breathing one, he just kept a very close eye on.
#49 - Hunger
Jayne knew that this burning hunger would never give him peace; not until he'd slammed Simon against the first available wall and fucked him senseless, or until the doctor shut the hell up, whichever came first.
#50 - Believe
Part of the haul this time out was a box of vids, so when Simon slid down the ladders to Jayne's bunk, he expected the merc to be watching porn not chanting "I do believe in fairies, I do, I do, I do," and who would have thought Jayne was a Peter Pan fan anyway?
