1. Comfort
He holds her to him whispering soft words, and she wonders vaguely why her father had thought humans were so evil.
2. Kiss
Her lips are trembling as they kiss, and Joshua’s not sure why she is.
3. Soft
The words they whisper in the night are as soft and gentle as the moonlight that shines on them.
4. Pain
“Ow!” he yelps as Aquata pulls a stinging sea nettle from his behind.
5. Potatoes
“Wait a minute…you mean these things grow in the ground and you eat them; you humans are strange.”
6. Rain
The rain isn’t enough to stop him from checking his treasure pots, and if Aquata’s willing to help him, what’s wrong getting a little wet?
7. Chocolate
He grins as she pops the piece of chocolate into her mouth and her eyes light up with delight.
8. Happiness
The remaining sisters notice that Aquata looks happier than usual, just like Ariel was before she got married.
9. Telephone
Flounder didn’t like relaying messages to and from; if he heard one more sappy poem from Josh to Aquata, he was going to hurl!
10. Ears
They say that you can hear certain things better underwater that you can’t hear on land; Joshua doesn’t mind this because he can hear his lover moan better.

“Attina, Alana, Adella, Arista, Andrina, Aqua---wait, where is dat girl-oh, never mind, I know where she is, and his name will not be mentioned.”
12. Sensual
(A/N: This could be why Aquata isn’t there in #11(grins).)
Her tail wraps around his legs, she tilts her head back and moans as his lips caress her neck and his hands massage her breasts.

He holds her hand to the very end, until his breathing stops and his grip loosens.

(A/N: I figure Triton gives Aquata legs so she can marry Joshua-I mean he did the same for Ariel, right?)
Aquata’s not sure why humans enjoy making love until she actually does and as she curls into his arms and looks up into his deep green eyes, she realizes that it’s the moment following it that might be why.
15. Touch
Her scales aren’t as rough as he thought they would be; they actually feel very silky under his fingertips.
16. Weakness
Ariel has the doe-eyes, and Joshua soon learns from experience that it runs in the family.
17. Tears
Joshua and Aquata’s wedding is the second time that all the other sisters cry their hearts out.

“I win!” She shouts as she touches the rock before Josh, eagerly awaiting the congratulatory kiss he’ll give her even though he lost.

Her hair is blown back from the zephyr that appears suddenly, and she looks more beautiful than ever to him.
20. Freedom
There are times when he wonders if she truly loves him, or if it’s just the freedom she has; he knows, of course, that she loves him anyway.
21. Life
‘Life is good,’ he thinks as he watches Aquata laughing with Melody, ‘but it’s even better if you have someone to share it with.’
22. Jealousy
While they’re sunbathing, Andrina suddenly says, which shocks Alana, “I’m jealous of Aquata, and I don’t know why.”
23. Hands
His hands are strong enough to pull a net up from the depths, yet they’re gentle enough to hold her face during a kiss.
24. Taste
Aquata tastes like sea salt, something he becomes highly addicted to.
25. Devotion
Ariel has to ask, though she knows very well, “Aquata, where’d you get those flowers?”
26. Forever
He slips the aquamarine gem onto her finger as he says in a voice too low that she almost can’t understand “Will you be mine…forever?”
27. Blood
She panics at the sight of blood their first time, but he reassures her that, though he looks a little pale himself, it’s supposed to happen.
28. Sickness
When she explains her morning sickness to Carlotta, the jovial woman beams brightly and says “There’s a very good reason as to why you feel this way, Miss Aquata.”
29. Melody
“So, Melody,” Joshua asks with a smile, “how would you like to be our child’s godmother?”
30. Star
He recalls making a wish on a falling star when he was a little, but he never realizes that it’s come true until Aquata nuzzles into his chest in their bed.
31. Home
“I really don’t like the idea of going to Atlantica to tell your father,” he admits nervously, but she giggles and says that everything will be all right.
32. Confusion
Triton looks confused, until it hits him that Aquata is pregnant, and then he whirls around on Joshua and bellows “YOU!”
33. Fear
Joshua thinks he’ll be fried to a crisp or impaled on the trident, so needless to say he’s surprised and a little frightened that Triton pulls him into a huge bone-cracking hug.
34. Lightning/Thunder
“I was expecting Father to react in a bad way…but I think he likes you.”
35. Bonds
Her sisters are ecstatic at the news that they’re going to be aunties again, and Aquata becomes conscious of how strong a bond they all share.
36. Market
The markets in Atlantica makes one glad to have spent a little time there with Ariel, otherwise he would have been completely lost in finding a wedding gift.
37. Technology
She tries not to laugh at how the sisters attack Joshua as how to explain an engagement ceremony the way humans do it.
38. Gift
Joshua’s gift to her is something she’s never seen before, but she loves his explanation: “What you do is you keep a picture of someone you love in the locket, and then they’ll be with you wherever you go.”
39. Smile
Smiling, he places the locket around her neck, and then kisses her.
40. Innocence
Her virtue entrances him, and she knows it, but she makes him squirm by kissing him hard after the priest says “You may kiss the bride.”
41. Completion
It wasn’t until morning that they finally stopped, cuddling together as the last of their pleasure surged through them.
42. Clouds
(A/N: Ari is a male take off Ariel’s name)
It is on a cloudy day that Ari Eric is born and then a few minutes after that, Amanda Rose is born
43. Sky
Joshua feels as if he is going to lift off into the sky as he holds both his son and daughter in his arms.
44. Heaven
Aquata understands that when people die they become angels, so she knows that Joshua will watch over his now-grown children along with her mother; but she is glad that he got to see them grow before he died.
45. Hell
“I’m gonna go to a special hell according to some people in the village because I married a woman who’s half-fish…at least I won’t be lonely.”
46. Sun
They don’t have to worry about a setting sun ruining their love.
(A/N: Uh, yeah, # 46 is a little weird.)
47. Moon
“The moon is quite beautiful tonight,” he muses quietly as they lie together.
48. Waves
Aquata pushes him into the waves and runs away laughing as he struggles to get up.
49. Hair
He always tries to put up her hair up for her in a bun, but then he sees her delectable neck and he can’t help but kiss it, and then they never seem to get ready in time.
50. Supernova
They all wait to see this phenomena that happens only once every so often, and as it does, Aquata feels his hand take hers, looks up to see his loving green eyes looking into hers…and she knows that she is loved.
