Fandom: D.Gray-Man
Pairing: Lavi/Allen
Theme set: Alpha
Rating: G - NC-17. Smut in a sentence. =D;
Warning[s]: Spoilers abound! Kinda, anyway.
Note: Comma and semi-colon abuse, ahahaha... =D; Also, the last... 15 or so... written while somewhat sick and delirious. Ohdear.

01: Comfort
There were few comforts on their journey, even less than the sparsely furnished lodgings at the Order headquarters, but one that Allen could always count on each night was Lavi’s arms.

02: Kiss
Allen’s “But I thought you only kissed girls” was cut off by the press of lips to his again, and he realized finally that when it came to the right one, gender no longer made a difference.

03: Soft
Lavi had expected Allen to be soft, seeing him that first time, curled in bed all tiny and fragile like a newborn kitten, but the young exorcist surprised him, all sinewy muscles firm and strong.

04: Pain
A little pain was nothing, and Allen urged Lavi to thrust harder, deeper, unmindful of his own body, knowing only that he wanted - oh, wanted, wanted, wanted so much - that beautiful body writhing against his.

05: Potatoes
On the day that Jerry decided to cook everyone a potato lunch - something about Komui making a mistake on his food orders, - Lavi stared as Allen devoured them with the same vigor as everything else, mashed and fried and baked whole, and wondered whether he could get the younger Exorcist to put that mouth to another use.

06: Rain
There was shock and relief in that moment, pure and powerful, and it was all Lavi could do to remind himself that there were others there, to keep from raining kisses upon that snowy figure he thought he would never again see.

07: Chocolate
Allen was never fond of chocolate, not really, but he found it hard to resist melted in Lavi’s mouth, bitter and sweet and rich on his tongue, pushed between parted lips.

08: Happiness
There was a time when Allen knew what happiness was, warm and safe and loved, and he recognized it again now, the shattered pieces coming together in a different pattern, the bluebird revisiting with a new song, reflected in a smiling emerald.

09: Telephone
Sent on separate missions, Allen was thrilled when he received the phone call from Lavi, but soon enough, he blushed at the voice, blushed at the words, blushed at the requests, and stammered out a “N-no!” when asked if he was blushing.

10: Ears
Allen was always curious about Lavi’s earrings, strange little implements hanging off of the lobes that he once thought only girls wore, but there came a day when he realized just how fun they were to play with, teased between his lips and teeth.

11: Name
Forty-nine names, forty-nine personalities, forty-nine pasts; and yet, this one would remain, Lavi knew, this “Lavi” that could change and become real, all for the sake of one white-haired Exorcist calling out that name at night.

12: Sensual
There was something sensual about the way Allen moved now, different from the awkward grace of before, and Lavi found it difficult to take his eyes off of the form, lithe and dangerous and gliding like liquid quicksilver.

13: Death
And when he saw Allen’s death, through the tiny display that Timcanpy gave, and when he thought he’d lose the younger Exorcist forever, Lavi felt his heart clench and his world stop, and realized - too late; he was sure it was too late, now - through the first cracks in his mask that perhaps he had a heart after all.

14: Sex
It was unusual that a teenage boy would be so completely uninterested in sex, and perhaps that was what first drew Lavi’s attention to Allen, but the spell never wore off, not even when Lavi had the younger boy beneath him, moaning out his name.

15: Touch
The touch from Allen’s left hand felt different, rougher, cooler, something of a cross between skin and metal, and so full of power that Lavi could only gasp, caught for once at his mercy.

16: Weakness
Bookmen had to show no weakness, Lavi knew, had no weaknesses, and maybe that was when he first realized that he couldn’t become one, not really, because his weakness had snowy hair and a cursed eye and broke Lavi’s every last resistance when he disappeared.

17: Tears
Without a heart, there was no reason to shed tears, Lavi knew, but they came all the same, all for one tiny boy he feared he might never see again.

18: Speed
The speed with which Allen ate was ungodly, and yet seemed every bit a part of his charm, and Lavi couldn’t say no when the younger Exorcist reached over to steal a bite of his food, eyes all imploring.

19: Wind
Allen had never before thought he would have a chance to fly, the domain that seemed to belong only to Lenalee, but he found that he liked the sensation despite the dangers of the Odzuchi Kodzuchi, liked the cool wind teasing his hair and the strong arms holding him warm and secure.

20: Freedom
An Exorcist did not have the freedom of choice in many matters, not in love and not in conduct, though Allen never begrudged any of those rules until one day, he realized that he could no longer deny his feelings about a certain red-haired colleague, forbidden in more ways than one.

21: Life
In an occupation filled with death, Allen delivered life, both to the living and the dead, the Humans and the Akuma, an eternal beacon of light that sought to wash away the mountains of bodies engraved within a young Bookman’s eye.

22: Jealousy
It wasn’t jealousy - really, it wasn’t! - that drove Allen to glare, pout, and sulk in general every time that Lavi flirted with a girl; no, why would anyone think that?

23: Hands
Allen’s hands were mismatched, one deformed, as much a curse and a gift to him as his eye, but Lavi took them all the same in his, pressing a kiss to each palm as he smiled.

24: Taste
Sometimes, Lavi wondered if Allen tasted his food at all, what with the speed at which he ate, so when they kissed, he pressed closer slowly and deliberately, making sure Allen tasted all of him.

25: Devotion
An Exorcist’s devotion must first be to God, and every night, Allen Walker wondered if he should pray and ask for faith before his soul was stolen by a gleaming emerald eye.

26: Forever
Forever was a long time, and Allen knew that he wouldn’t live that long - would be lucky to live even ten years, in their situation - but he promised anyway that he would stay with Lavi forever, and knew it was a useless promise the Bookman Junior would be forced to break as well even if they were to live past the end of this war.

27: Blood
Lavi had hurried as quickly as he could to the spot that Timcanpy showed them, but all that was left was blood, dark and red and dried, and a blood-flecked card the only - and irrefutable - proof that Allen had been there.

28: Sickness
Allen did not like being sick, reduced to staying in bed with much too little food and just as little entertainment, but when Lavi came to visit, bringing soup and stories and warmth, he found that maybe he didn’t have so many complaints after all.

29: Melody
There was hope in the melody of the Ark, and life, and Allen poured all his wishes into his song, seeing in his mind his dear friends, all those who fell, and sang a little harder when his thoughts rested on one red-haired youth.

30: Star
Sometimes, Lavi wondered if the pentacle on Allen’s forehead might not count for so much more than a curse, being instead a shining star of hope, guiding them into the future.

31: Home
“I’m home” was something that Allen had longed to say ever since he was young, and every time he crossed the Order’s threshold, Lavi was there, arms wide as he murmured, “Welcome home.”

32: Confusion
It was all because of a grand confusion; Lavi wanted to laugh, wanted to cry, and couldn’t do either, when he found out that Allen was alive and fine, and he wondered if perhaps God did play games with his disciples after all.

33: Fear
Allen was fearless, Lavi soon came to believe, a shining hero out of an old legend, a pillar of strength that always looked forward, no matter the situation.

34: Lightning/Thunder
The room was dark when Lavi slipped through the door, and silent, and were it not for the lightning that flashed across the sky, he would never have seen Allen silhouetted against the window, tiny and frail and stronger than all the earth.

35: Bonds
Maybe it was friendship, and maybe it was something more; Lavi didn’t know which, and didn’t care, because it was there, a bond between Allen and him, a silken thread that grew stronger with every day.

36: Market
Allen at market was a thing to behold, and Lavi could only gape - though, really, he should be used to it; he had been around Allen for more than long enough - as he watched the younger Exorcist pick out piles and piles of food, a testament to both his appetite and his strength.

37: Technology
Timcanpy was different from the other golems, a technology that only Cross understood, if anyone, though he was easy enough to use, Lavi soon discovered, smirking cheerfully as he eyed the tiny image of Allen, recorded and replicated perfectly in miniature, a soft hum of approval escaping his lips at the awkward grace of the other’s movements.

38: Gift
A gift could speak where too many words would be needed, and Allen understood when Lavi slipped the ring onto his finger, and promised that he would return, knowing that he did not belong to just himself anymore.

39: Smile
When Lavi thought of Allen, he always saw a smile, brilliant and beautiful in sadness, a clown taking his role, unfaltering, even to the death.

40: Innocence
Innocence could be given to none but those chosen by God, Allen knew, and offered a different kind of innocence to one of his own choosing, a constant companion, a vision of crimson-covered emerald, a memory of a cheerful grin, so real and yet not…

41: Completion
When Lavi entered him, Allen finally understood why his master liked to do what he did, understood the need to hold another close, and he smiled a secret smile, knowing that while his master still searched for that feeling of completion, he had found it.

42: Clouds
There were shapes in the clouds, Allen realized, picking them out in his head, just as he had done years ago with Mana, and felt a twinge of longing as he passed by a rabbit, determining to himself to finish his mission quickly so that he could rejoin the Bookman-in-training.

43: Sky
The first time Allen approached the Black Order Headquarters, it had seemed tall and imposing, a dark tower reaching for the sky, but now, it was home and safety and love, a sanctuary where he knew that he could live yet another day with Lavi by his side.

44: Heaven
It was not for the rewards of Heaven but for an unbreakable vow that Allen became an Exorcist, and Lavi did not seek aught in the Order more than the tides of history, but both found their Heaven nonetheless, entwined in each other’s arms.

45: Hell
Allen lived out half his existence in Hell, Lavi knew, and knew just as well that the one glimpse he had had of Allen’s world had kept him reeling for days; but when Allen turned that smile upon him, Lavi could feel all the darkness seep away, and wondered just how a boy who lived with one foot in the depths of Hell could exude light brighter than the sun.

46: Sun
In Allen’s footsteps came sunshine and life, the child who looked like winter bringing with him new spring, and Lavi watched him and envied him, knowing that the flame of his hair held no warmth, knowing that only Allen’s smile thawed a heart that, once brought to existence, refused to disappear.

47: Moon
Sometimes, Lavi was afraid that Allen might disappear in the moonlight, so soft and pale he was, or that he might turn into the moon itself, slipping into darkness for weeks and weeks, and he would hold on more tightly, pressing kisses against soft skin and reassuring himself that the boy in his arms was real.

48: Waves
Had he the power, Lavi would have commanded the waves to stop, to leave them be; as things were, he could only stand and stare, his heart numb and cold, as the land receded away from them, taking with it - rather, taking him from - one youth bearing a curse and a promise who was an Exorcist no more.

49: Hair
Lavi had never seen white hair before, not on someone so young, undulled with grey, and at times, it made Allen seem almost unreal, a fey creature on the verge of disappearing, so very fascinating that, by the time Lavi realized his danger, he was already caught.

50: Supernova
There was something in the way Allen destroyed the Akuma, a look in his eyes, a smoldering prayer, his blood singing aloud; Lavi was jealous, sometimes, and thrust down harder, a supernova of pleasure flaring out, a silent promise that one day, he would the first in Allen’s attention.
