Lovely, just lovely. A fine use of words, although the length made the "Sentences" somewhat hard to follow in one continuous thought.

Yes, length-wise, I tend to ramble. ;) But I'm glad you enjoyed them; thank you for reading! :)

What got you thinking of these two? Can you recommend other fics about them?

Akabane/Himiko is my second favorite pairing from GB (my first love is Ban/Akabane; I'm also working on a series about them). They complement each other so well that for me it's not much of a stretch to imagine their relationship going further than that of just occasional work partners. :)

I've done other fics about A/H, actually - I have a profile up on fanfiction.net (same name as this one). There's at least one other author on ff.net who's done a lovely A/H; I forget the author's name but the story's title is Digging Graves. (Be warned, though - both recommendations contain mild to strong sexual content, so if that's not your cup of tea...)

There's also another author named Goo who wrote an explicit A/H - I think it's on one of the adult fanfiction sites - that one's definitely an NC-17 rated, but it's a good one if you're into that. (The fic's name is Enjoyment)

I wouldn't have put these two together, but you did it very nicely. I loved the images the words painted, and quirky dynamic that you set up. Great job on these.
