She used to think that love was forever and when she remembers that, she’s shocked that she was ever that young.

When he looks at the new Sharon, he can’t quite place what it is, but he knows that it’s not the other Sharon, his Sharon.

She wants to live a little longer now that she can see how much the gunshot wound in her belly hurts him.

He knows how she felt now, left wondering if he really has a soul.

Sometimes he can’t remember her at all, even when something better then a picture is right there.

It amazes him that he thought he could have something with the new Sharon, when all she is is a replacement.

She tries to stay mad, laying in sickbay with a hole in her face, but he’s giving her this look and she wants him to leave before she starts crying again.

He thinks back ironically on when he wondered what it would have been like to meet a half-Cylon child.

Chief wonders at how he treated her now that he knows.

He can see the shadows on her face in his minds eye that match the words he hears, crystal clear: “I’m on my own.”

It makes her fiercely happy to hurt him like this, even if she has to die to do it.

When the other Sharon recognizes her Boomer wants to scream; her little plan to see what’s left of them is shot.

She knows that if she hadn’t been born what she is, he’d never have stopped loving her.

She misses the only place she ever felt like she belonged; she misses what everyone tells her is supposed to be home.

Everyday on New Caprica is like being haunted for him; he expects every one of them to be her, over and over.

She cried over the old repair manual she found in one of the captured Raptors for two days.

After one of the pilots tells him that Baltar was the last one to see her before she shot herself, the Chief puts it to him, giving him a black eye that cries out his guilt.

Cally doesn’t tell Galen that Boomer came to try and help her; she doesn’t want him to even remember her.

She harps on about how they should spare Cally but the look on of the Sixes gives her lets her remember that Cally would never return the favor.

Rebirth comes so suddenly; she expects to wallow in her memories, painful or not, because it’s the last time she’ll see him.

When she tastes the metal in her mouth, it’s always Chief’s voice that tells her to stop, that living is worth it, but he’s only in her head.

“What are you smiling at me for?” he asks her and she answers “I’m always happy to see you.”

Her new body feels alien to her, identical but for the lack of his touch.

He has a new family, a new life but he can’t leave behind that kid who he honestly thought he could have loved forever.

Sometimes Athena wishes she didn’t have Boomer’s memories, especially when she sees the Chief and Cally together.

She looks back on her encounter with Cally in that cell and wishes that she hadn’t been so weak.

He recognizes the look on her face that says “I didn’t want to bother you with something as insignificant as my life”; it matches the one word coming out of her mouth: “Dismissed.”

She’s bitter now and she thinks that if there were a God, he would have given her vengence.

Whenever she thinks of him, all she needs to do is put her hand on a wall, and all the memories of him in that spot are brought to the front of her mind.

She remembers everything, waking up in the tank again, her sobs racking her body for all to hear.

He can’t help but compare the curve of the scrap with the curve of her hip.

When Adama tells him, he believes that he’ll see her again, the real her.
