#1 - Motion

Tifa sighed; it was time to get things going, to move on, yet he still didn’t seem to understand that.

#2 - Cool

His face was a mask of calm and collected; only she could see what was hidden beneath.

#3 - Young

They had barely known each other when they were children but now, they had to wonder what they didn’t know about each other.

#4 - Last

She had tried countless times to remember when he had last smiled, but she could never find a clear memory.

#5 - Wrong

Her hands were on her hips as she grumbled; Cloud had ordered the expensive wine…again.

#6 - Gentle

It was the look in her eyes that made him want to embrace the future rather than live forever in the past.

#7 - One

Tifa placed one hand on his back and the other in his hand, laughing out, “Alright Cloud. Let’s try this one more time.”

#8 - Thousand

Sometimes, when she caught the solemn look on his face and the sorrow in his eyes, she thought it would be a millennium or two before he forgave himself.

#9 - King

Tifa cheered along with Barret, raising her glass while saying with everyone, “All hail to Cloud, king of defying gravity!”

#10 - Learn

For once, it was Cloud’s turn to laugh at Tifa, watching her look around, wondering how to deliver the boxes to Yuffie’s without walking (“You know, I think it’s about time someone taught you how to drive, Tifa.”)

#11 - Blur

He was mesmerized by how fast she moved, the way you could barely see her when she landed a punch on you (which is why Cloud was quickly defeated in a supposed give-it-your-all sparring match).

#12 - Wait

“Cloud, I can’t wait for you forever, but you can always come back here when you’re tired, or finally want to settle down, though I don’t think that’ll be for a while!”

#13 - Change

Tifa frowned; the whole world was changing for the better yet Cloud was staying the same.

#14 - Command

Cloud shakily scrambled around, searching for the right brand of wine as Tifa ordered him to find it.

#15 - Hold

It was a rare moment of peace, but Cloud held Tifa warmly against him as if he had done it his entire life.

#16 - Need

Maybe it was some form of primal instinct, or maybe it was just pure lust, but ever since that day he saw he laying the flowers, he knew he needed her- just like she needed him.

#17 - Vision

Even he had to admit that she was quite a sight to see, with the dress accenting her curves and complimenting her eyes wonderfully.

#18 - Attention

She sighed in frustration; her mind was drifting away from work and back to Cloud.

#19 - Soul

It was times like when Cloud refused to talk to her that Tifa wished Aerith was alive with them rather than existing in the Life Stream.

#20 - Picture

He rubbed his thumb fondly over the photograph, enjoying the way Tifa’s bright smile would forever be preserved in it.

#21 - Fool

Only Cloud seemed to think that she didn’t look stupid while covered in blotches of paint.

#22 - Mad

Tifa knew she didn’t have to worry about him, but sometimes it seemed like he’d drive himself crazy from his own sorrow.

#23 - Child

Honestly, refusing to speak to her about anything and leaving off on his own without a word, he was just like a third kid to take care of.

#24 - Now

As he carefully slipped the simple band around her finger, he felt that now was finally time to start living again.

#25 - Shadow

It didn’t matter that Cloud considered himself unworthy, another manifestation of the dark; she could always be his light to guide him through it.

#26 - Goodbye

Cloud walked out the door yet again, muttering a nearly nonexistent “Bye,” when Tifa called out from inside, “That better not mean forever Cloud!”

#27 - Hide

He was hiding from something, he knew it, she knew it, but she wanted to know why.

#28 - Fortune

You’d think that with saving the world from Meteor, Tifa would have the luxury of spending oodles and oodles of money; but, she didn’t…she had to rely on Cloud for buying everything.

#29 - Safe

He had had enough misery and agony in his life, she would make sure to protect him.

#30 - Ghost

She may not have been alive, but Tifa felt that she was haunted by her (Did she love him? Does he love her back?)

#31 - Book

Cloud flushed as he listened to Tifa read Marlene a fairytale, one of the classics; he kept imagining himself as the brave knight and Tifa as the princess…except she kept telling him that she didn’t need saving.

#32 - Eye

He had always been something to catch the eye with, his gravity-defying blond hair being the main focus of attention, but Tifa made sure to notice things beyond looks.

#33 - Never

Tifa groaned, complaining about how they’d never finish painting the walls while Cloud only chuckled, kindly reprimanding, “Never say never, Tifa.”

#34 - Sing

Tifa giggled as she handed over a bewildered Cloud the microphone, laughing out, “Come on Cloud! Sing for us, it’s just karaoke!”

#35 - Sudden

It was little unexpected and out of the blue when Cloud had finally shown a little charm in his character, but maybe he was just hiding it all along.

#36 - Stop

He lay on the ground, panting as his hand weakly grasped his sword while she laughed, “Maybe we should take a break from the sparring matches.”

#37 - Time

Staring at her warm, bright smile, he pondered on how it might not have been time to stop thinking about the past, but it was time to start living life again.

#38 - Wash

As she entwined her hand with Cloud’s, she thought that she might’ve finally washed away his pain, if only a little.

#39 - Torn

He could feel the guilt gnawing away at his heart; who did he really love?

#40 - History

When Cloud started going on and on about the story of how he got Fenrir, Tifa tried to hide her yawns; honestly, of all the exciting things in the world, this is what got him excited?

#41 - Power

She was one of the strongest people around, there was no doubt about that - but she did not have the most important kind (the one to change the look in his eyes).

#42 - Bother

It wasn’t the fact that Cloud and Tifa were seen together during the walk; it was the fact that Yuffie had completely missed this little change that was bothering her.

#43 - God

Sometimes, she couldn’t help but be a little hateful; what kind of god lets someone who helped save the world suffer so much?!

#44 - Wall

There were walls around his heart, but she was determined to break through, whether with her words or fists.

#45 - Naked

She fidgeted under his gaze, feeling incredibly vulnerable; she did not like that look in his eyes (though it was a nice change from the usual sorrow).

#46 - Drive

Her fingers dug into Cloud’s back as he drove Fenrir like a madman - they must have been going over 100 miles per hour!

#47 - Harm

He didn’t want to hurt anyone, not again, but she assured him that she was strong enough for anything.

#48 - Precious

She rolled over in bed and hugged him from behind, not wanting to ever let go of the most important thing in the world.

#49 - Hunger

He took her mouth greedily with his, enjoying the softness of them; it wasn’t his fault that he got hungry.

#50 - Believe

When Cloud asked if she was sure she wanted to be with him, to put up with all of his troubles and his doubts, Tifa only looked at him in the eye answering, “I wouldn’t be here if I didn’t believe in you.”
