Just finished watching Serenity and this is just what I was coming to look for! Great timing! :D
I really like some of the sentences you used, especially ones that were humorously ironic. :P

Oh, how happy this makes me. No matter how much gorramn rotten stuff got thrown at everybody in Serenity (which I just finished watching), at least those two got their happy ending. And well done you, for doing them justice! Always a treat to see real nuance of characterization in fic, not to mention good use of characters not included the couple in question, and #38 just made me smile, as it's a variation on a theme I'd thought of myself. (Never touched the fandom much until now, I didn't want to be spoiled.) Now if there was just a set of great Zoe/Wash sentences for me to bawl my eyes out over...

Oh, hey, you know what! I wrote out a drabbleandahalf when I was bored in Chemistry for Zoe/Wash a few days ago.

I'll just type that out and stick that in this comment for you. :D

Wash fell to his knees in the filthy tavern, gasping for breath, sweat beading on his forehead and gather in his hair. He could feel unidentifiable liquids seeping through his pant legs. He gulped and began to slowly lower his hand to his breast pocket, staring up into the cold chocolate eyes of the warrioress.

"Zoe, I'm not much of a man, but seeing as you haven't shot me yet, will you marry me?"

He offered the ring he'd made from a thruster bold (hours upon hours of sanding - the agony of inserting the tiny gem in the tiny hole). It dropped to the ground with a sticky sort of clang as Wash's hands were crushed in hers. Her eyes were closed, lashes damp, head nodding furiously.

Wash grinned and gathered up the lioness in his arms.
