Much to Chiaki's constertation, Ororon plunks the box in front of the catlike little demon and says that if he doesn't quiet down and let the lady sleep, he'll be in here under a bridge.

Sometimes, as she thinks about her own fate, she wants to run away from everything and from his sarcastically blunt support.

The force of her power was a chained hurricane, ripping the school apart before his eyes - a beautiful maelstrom of power contained within a slip of a girl.

Chiaki thinks, I should never have dragged him in outta the cold as she stands over his body.

"And lead us not into temptation," Chiaki whispers every Sunday at Mass, finding it incredibly ironic she loved the Devil once.
