Would love to see a bangalore without the IT companies around, may be we'll see a pensioner paradise yet again, with auto-wallahs haggling and overcharging with anyone who could not speak kannada...(well they do it even now), nobody going out shopping to the malls, and these malls which have become traffic bottlenecks would shut down, and we ll be back to the god old days of pubs in bangalore, where they were more of a hole in the wall pubs, serving desi brands....
each city is going thru a transfomration in India, and so is bangalore, and this is not a stray phenomenon. The manhattan that you see in US is full of jay-walkers storming the streets, and taxis running helter-skelter! coming back to bangalore, i have seen the south indian featured bikers being more rash in terms of changing lanes(lanes, what lanes, i own the road), and the south indian sexy colored private buses driving caring for no-one either inside or outside the buses, i m sure once the north indians go back to gurgaon, and IT companies move out, these buses would follow the lane discipline, drive under speed limits, and not honk crazily...

down with IT, down with gurgaon-ites....
