If I had one wish, it would be that for just one more night I could have the old Chris back. You know, the same Chris that used to call me up and tell me "don't make plans for tonight, I'll pick you up at 6, and dress up". That Chris.
I still love him to death, but he used to treat me like a princess. Everyday had a new surprise. Poems, dinners, walks on the beach, flowers. I still get flowers, I still get dinner, but, things have changed. He rarely opens up my car door anymore (which is a big deal after him doing it everytime for over a year and a half), I have to hint the I haven't gotten flowers in a long time, and for dinners I have to be like... remember that nice place we went to ....?? we should go there again some time.
