Semi-private: Not viewable to pro-ban
I am exhausted. Long trips just do that, sap you out of your energy and stuff. I'm so happy to be home. I like Uncle Sess' huge estate, but there's really no place like home.
The weekend was great. I spent time bothering Uncle Sess a bit. Even if it was the weekend, he was working. I paraded around in that kimono he got for me last year (and it was hoooot that day) just to distract him, but he still ignored me. I was about to bring out the shamisen that he had forced me to learn how to play when I was 13 before he distractedly told me to go outside.
I play a mean shamisen. The kind of mean that would make you want to pry the damned instrument from my hands and beg the heavens never have me find it ever again. Of course I could play it. I just choose not to play it well in Sesshoumaru's presence. It makes our relationship much more interesting that way. Or something. I like to think that I add more color to his life. Not that he needs more, given that he has such a wonderful wife who stands up to him and doesn't let him boss her around. Maybe I just add more background noise. I don't mind. It's fun. XD
We also went to the beach. Well, Rin, Kagome, and me, anyway. Good thing I brought a swimsuit. The sun was hot and the water was cool. I should definitely go back to the beach soon, if not for the swimming, the scenery and the calm.
And of course the beach reminds me of Sephiroth...
