Had a pretty lazy weekend. It's actually quite ironic, given what happened the past week around here with the bombing and everything. Sometimes, it's so strange that these catastrophic things happen and the world just seems to continue to turn. At least for the people who weren't there, at least. I hope everyone at the school and Shinra are better now.

Nothing out of the ordinary happened to me, though. I just had a case of spontaneous bibliophilia and I went tearing through the bookshop for new books. Of course nothing too heavy, though probably that ghost story book I got, Heart-shaped Box by Joe Hill, would be scary for obvious reasons. I hope it's not too scary. I wouldn't want to have sleepless nights over a stupid scary book, thanks. ;>_>

Ah well, if that happens there's always my Regency romances (yes, I read them. Don't a lot of other girls? Oh, and I read the ones by Julia Quinn. They're a bit more intelligent, believable, and original than what you find lying around in booksales and such. Gasp! And yes! It can so happen that a Regency romance can be intelligent, believable, and original! Go grab her books to see. *shameless, unpaid plugging* And yes, I can talk about this for hours. Romance novels and how they've evolved...) and my worn copy of Gone With the Wind.
