I don't know how long this post would be, and I also don't know whether I'll have some coherence in this post or not (as always *fail*). But one thing's sure: THIS MUST BE THE LONGEST WEEK I'VE HAD IN MY ENTIRE COLLEGE LIFE. Or so I think. *facepalm*
Hmmm. Let's start with Monday.
* Waited for the qualifying exam results for my major (Applied Corporate Management). Actually I wasn't really paying attention to this one--heck I might've even forgotten--but learning that results would have posted by this time kind of worried me, unconsciously.
Tuesday
* The surprise everyone (in my former block at least) was waiting for, the ACM qualifying exam results. I was glad to find my name there, but what actually surprised me more was we had to go to the Business Management Department the same day to get our interview (aka the most crucial part of the application to major) schedule. What could be worse than that? The interviews started the next day.
* I didn't get in my professional organization as an junior officer. I was actually surprised rather than saddened, since most of my friends got in. Even my good friend Jenny couldn't believe it at first (she told me to "snap out of it" and doubt the results myself XDDD). What could be stranger than that again? I got easily in on that writing org last year, which I found to be more demanding talent-wise. Weird world we live in, all I can say. O__o
* OBLICON (commercial law subject: obligations and contracts) midterms. I was glad that the test was all of multiple-choice type, though inevitably I had to guess a lot of questions, because of my laziness to study. (-___-) And our professor JUST HAD to group us right there and then and have us present legalities (about extinguishment of obligations) in two days. *sarcasm struggling to come out*
* Oh, and did I mention my interview was schedule ON THE VERY NEXT DAY? I didn't even have enough time to believe that. orz
Wednesday
* Meeting with OBLICON groupmates, which kind of made me nervous. Let me tell you what actually happened. Our teacher wanted us to group ourselves into six (with six people each, seven for two groups). Since practically everyone of our classmates were already in groups (friendships, connections and whatnot), only the three of us where left: Jenny, Patricia and I. We three only know each other and no one else. So I had to break away from them and join another group. I don't think I've done that before, but now I'm glad I did. They're all older than me, btw (ID 105). And they're fun people! :DDD
(Probably one of the best things this week, so proud of myself *lol*)
* Interview. I have to admit, I wasn't really feeling too nervous (e.g. sweaty palms, heart pounding, etc.), although I did have a TERRIBLE headache. That's when I realized I forgot to eat lunch. XDDDD My classes started at 11:20, and my groupmates had to meet me at 10am. Anyway, surprisingly the interview was less formal than I expected, and less techinical (more of personal/situational questions). Hopefully I answered well and will pass the requirements. *crosses fingers*
Thursday
* I admit (although you already know by now XDD): I'M A LAZY STUDENT. We were supposed to have an assignment for accouting (ACTMANA) today, but I DELIBERATELY didn't do it. Because I was just lazy. orz
Good thing my teacher was in a good mood and reviewed our past quiz instead. And she gave us plus points based on a surprise quiz!! She's such a sweet teacher. And to think two terms ago we nearly complained about her strictness. LOLLL. I'm glad we got her again for this term. ^____^
* Going to EDSA Ortigas, c-commuting there at five in the afternoon to watch an indie film our FILDLAR (Filipino Research) professor starred in. No, I'm serious, he's there. XDDD And I know Jenny and I weren't supposed to laugh whenever he came on screen, but we just couldn't help itttt. *snrk* "The boys are laughing--class, repeat. The boys... the boys ARE laughing."
* Going home was worse. We'd already had a mistake locating Robinson's Galleria from where we got off MRT Ortigas Station--we even had to walk for 30 minutes--and there was something worse than that. We had to take the same route going back here to Taft, and IT WAS RAINING. We only had small bags, so no umbrellas. D: Luckily it was faster than we'd thought, but then another problem arose. It was already 9:30, and I think (still do) that LRT closed already. So. We had to take a taxi from EDSA back to Taft. It was a good ride nevertheless, but it was my first time riding a taxi on my own. :3
AND I'M FREAKING TIRED. I KNOW I SHOULD BE SLEEPING BUT I REALLY WANTED TO WRITE ABOUT MY LOOOOOOONGEST WEEK EVER. I figured this was all worth mentioning. I-I'm insane that way. XDD
Random note: I really didn't know that our university had an annual recognition day for Dean's Listers. LOL and I looked for my name in the Second Honors' by mistake and went, "WHY AM I NOT LISTED? D:" And Jenny was like, "You're looking at the wrong list! You're actually higher than that, stupid." XDDDDD
Anyways, on a lighter note, Happy Birthday to our oldest Beatle, RINGO STARR!!! You might not be an original Beatle, but you're still the coolest drummer ever.
*cough* Excuse me.
