So it's Dolpa day!
Incidentally, when we were resting at the tables in the afternoon, one of Volks' photographers came along and snapped a picture of Hikaru and Shizue Chietsu.
We were pleasantly surprised to find their photo in Volks' Dolpa 20 After Report! Scroll down to the 7th section, where there're 6 photos taken from the tables, to see the photo. XD
There's a caption that reads:
「お茶会ブースではドールと共に交流されるオーナー様で溢れかえっていました！
あっ、ちっちゃいイケメンさんを発見!?ちゃんとガイドブックをもってドルパ参加とは感激です！」
Translation:
"There're more and more dolls and owners interacting at the resting tables!
Ah, we discover a chibi ikemen*?! And we're very touched to see them attending Dolpa with Guidebooks!"
*Ikemen: Japanese slang for good-looking/hot/cute guy.
Can we just say we're incredibly, incredibly amused? XD
The Guidebooks, by the way, were made by us before we left for the trip. And then, one rainy afternoon, when we were looking around in the Ikebukuro Showroom, we discovered Volks had made 1/6-sized Volks plastic bags ...that fit the Guidebooks perfectly in scale. Of course we had to get it. XD
