Get a picturee and crop it to an icon size. I'm using this screenshot of GERARD in the Helena videoo

Sharpen the picture [ adjust - sharpness - sharpen ]

Duplicate the first layer and put the blend mode on screen and put the opactiy to 50% -ish

Add some text. I used the font Georgia bolded at size 6 for the big text and size 1 for the small text. I like caps

Merge visible. Andd make a new layer and use that colour on mulitply at 30% opacity

Use that texture by colorfilter and put it on screen at 70% or whatever you think looks good

Duplicate your first layer and put it on top of all of the other layers. Put the blend mode on soft light at 60%

Take that texture by colorfilter and put it on burn at 80%

Take that texture also by colorfilter and put it on screen at 100%

Add whatever else you want.. I added a sparkly brush on overlay. Anddd you're done.. YAY
