Spah wanted me to make a tutorial of myy MATTT icon x3 Sooo.. I made a tutorial x)

I used PSP, but it would work for PS. YAY

Get a picture and crop it to icon size. I'm using this one of Sonnnyyy.

Sharpen it once or twice.. whatever you want.

Make a new layer and flood fill it with black. And change the blend property to coloUr

Now get the eraser tool and use the round brush tip. Use it to erase whatever you want the keep the colour of. I erased Sonny's hot eyeshadow. I made the edges of his eyeshadow more blendyish by using the brush tool with a hardness of 0 in black at size 20 or something, and I added brushness to the edges...

Merge visible. And duplicate it and put the blend mode on soft light

Get one of the colours from the part that you erased. Take that texture made by colorfilter and edited by me. And make a new layer over the texture with the colour and floodfill it and put the blend mode on colour. Then put the texture over your icon and put the blend mode on screen. I also made the background black so you can see the texture better. And add text and stuff.

Then merge visible and sharpen it. OMFG, you're done :0
