(no subject)
I took Rosie to the vet this morning, costed about $75, which isn't too bad. Note to anyone thinking about sticking their finger up her butt, she will bite if you do that. Her anal glands are clean now though. The vet wasn't really sure what she had, could be a number of respiratory related things. So, she's got anti-cough pills and an antibiotic to take. A total of 6 pills she has to take in a day, for a few days, then it drops down to 3. The antibiotic is a capsule bigger than an advil or such. Pretty big for a dog her size.
They also told me that Puppy was too fat, which I expected to hear. We are really going to crack down on her sneaking the cats food down, we've already caught her twice today. She gets little table food, today she's had green beans and tomatos. She's going to get less treats as well. I have been giving her the proper amount of her dog food, but damn those begging puppy eyes I get everytime I eat something. It's going to be hard to not give her fries, cheesesticks, pizza, chunks of beef, and the like of that, but it's for her health.
While on the subject of Rosie, is it sad that I spent as much on her as I did the rest of the immediate family? She is going to have a nice little Christmas. Speaking of Christmas, my shopping is done now. I'm still debating on wrapping them, putting them in a nice bag, or just handing them to folks in the wal-mart/kmart bag that they are in. Wrapping just sounds like too much of a chore and a 3 year old can put my wrapping to shame.
