I'm reading a book called "Messy Spirituality", it talks about how spirituality isn't being perfect and never sinning. The chapter I'm in right now talks about how most people in churches today pretend to be spiritual and they disguise who they really are. They accuse people who have sinned of not being spiritual. It talks about how to be spiritual, you have to be real, and honest, that's what God desires. There is no room for pretending in spirituality.
I started thinking about what the world would be like if everyone was completely real and honest. If they didn't pretend to be good all the time. What if we spoke our minds all the time to everyone? What if we didn't hide our sin?
I then started thinking about what people would say about me or to me if I was real and honest all the time. I mean....I don't try to pretend to be perfect....but I do hide my sins. I wonder what would happen if I typed out every sin I can remember commiting right here. Some of you guys would probably admit that you've done the same things. Some of you might pretend to still like me, but really think badly of me. Some of you might come to my face and accuse me of not being spiritual. Most likely not though...you guys aren't judgemental like that....but I know alot of homeschool people would have a fit.
I was just thinking.
