Fallout:
So it seems my father is lurking my LJ, and he "disapproves" of what I said about Penny *twirl finger around in 'I don't care fashion'* He also tells me: "we've been married for a year." Yeah...I know, your sister told me.
Also, he gives me a ton of crap about how he isn't fond of Lauren living with Steph and my "brother". Funny...if he hasn't completely handed over the house, which such a statement of disapproval would SEEM to indicate...and he's still in control...why wouldn't he simply say...NO! She can't come in! ?? Ahh...there's the question, and here's the answer: because he really doesn't give a shit. He saw it here in the LJ, and decided that he'd address it as another lure.
As I said in previous posts...I'm keeping my eyes open here. I mean, he boots me out, disowns me, and then puts up a really passive resistance against Lauren moving in, but still claims it to be against his wishes...? Yeah...not really fooling much of anyone here.
On a lighter note:
So I went to Mandy's office party last night. Not bad, got descended on by a thousand Jewish mothers saying the ring I got her is really nice and amazing...oye, Jewish mothers, whether they're mine or not...it all remains the same. Honestly, it was about equal to the fuss...no, scratch that, it was greater than the fuss made when I had gotten jewelry for past GFs.
I crashed at Mandy's, and that was nice.
I think the bullshit with Harcourt might finally be reaching the end. Thank G-D!!
I've got work, Jury duty, and a lot of call backs to do...*sigh* my life.
