Sweet home Chicago :(

Well, everyone...if you did not know, the 23 of July I flew to Chicago for the National Student Leadership Conference(NSLC). I came back Thursday the 28th. Ever since then...it hasen't been the same. Mostly everything I look at reminds me of something that went on in Chicago or somebody. It is officially my favorite place, I loved everything about it. It was like a perfect little la la land if that makes sense.
Its just like any other vacation, you go away and everything seems perfect, then you have to go back home and go back to reality. Where you have work, homework, BAND, everything. I don't know, I just loved being there by myself...I loved the feeling of being responsible for myself and meeting amazing people.
The most rememberable people I can mention are Alex, this cool fun-loving guy from England(Yes, he had an accent) Kerri, an amazing artist and just a awesome person to be around from Jersey. Peter, this awesome chill guy from Berkley, CA. Matt, an awesome guitarist from Colorado, and a crude yet cool guy from Westchester, PA. Everyone had their own little thing that made life so good when I was with them. And no matter what everyone had something to say on everything we talked about. It was cool to hear other peoples expirences through life and their opinions...truely interesting. I am on trying to keep in touch with these people, so we will see what happens. And I know this may seem dumb and not possible, but I am determined to see these people again. And if I am determined to do so...I will. As for Chicago...my true home...it will have to wait until we meet again.

Some Highlights of the Trip:

-Arcitecture tour, I got hit with tree branches on top of a double decker bus, but the tour was phenominal.

-Joe's Bebop Cafe, It was this cafe which I went to this a few people, where you went to eat and they had live jazz entertainment. I loved every second of it. Not to mention they had a tenor sax player! <3

-Girls in the Elevator, Well the first day I was there, us guys were chilling in the lobby of our floor(and we couldn't go on girls floors and vice versa) and then we hear the elevator and there are a whole crap load of girls in the elevator with pillows sitting there, so Alex and I join them, and we go floor to floor just chilling...simply amazing.

-Millenium Park, Millenium park was...well...a park. But it had these cool art structures that were towers which spilled water from above and had computer automated faces on them and they would shoot out water(It was kinda like a play place for kids)...even though I didn't want to get wet Kerri decided it would be cool if I got soaked...but I am glad she did.

-Hot House, the Hot House was a jazz club that was a non profit jazz club, which was basically used to help get local musicians out to the public and you could buy drinks and in the next room over there was the art of local artists which you could buy.

-Art Museum, the art museum was well...an art museum.

-Mystic Blue Cruise, was a food and dancing cruise, where you got to well...eat and dance. And if you went to the top you could see the beautiful city at night.

-Navy Pier, was the pier, but it was also a shopping mall type thing where I bought so much Chicago tourist clothes it wasen't even funny lol.

Second City Comedy Club, if you watch SNL you would know what this place is...for all of you who don't. It is where most of the SNL cast members get started. So I got to see up and coming comedians do skits...it was awesomely hilarious. And after that we got to go into the studio and do improvisation with a acting teacher.

Well...Until we meet again Chicago <3
