Trying out for roller derby has made me keenly aware of my body - organs, functions, limitations, improvements, etc. The heart and lungs, for sure, get the most work (far beyond my skeletal muscles, even, at this point).

I've occasionally had some of the symptoms you're describing - clearly on a much smaller scale, probably stress related. That being said, I've been denied for donating blood due to an irregular heartbeat and it freaks me out to no end when I can feel my heart race suddenly for no apparent reason. (Especially when laying in bed.)

Even when there is nothing seriously wrong, having weird heart behavior is freaky, and I'm glad you had the sense to go to the doctor.

I just hope my heart is actually fine, and that derby makes up for all that crap I ate and exercise I didn't have. ...eagerly awaiting part II.

I'd just like to say that I'm really happy James has been so good for you, Sarah. I've been very concerned about you but it's reassuring to know that you have someone there who is dedicated in helping you get through all of this.

Keep me posted on the progress... I really hope that the pills, or whatever the next step is, gives you some relief.
