Wow, this entry is crazy

I had a dream last night where I was a Monk being chased by an unknown creature through a Cathedral. Like old school middle ages cathedral. My vision was that of a 1st person shooter complete with a map in the upper right corner of my vision with red dots. The dots were other monks. I saw one peaking through a massive stairwell and I got the jump on him. I took off his hood and it was my friend Rob. He screamed at me, pointed and what looked like his double ran up the stairs. Like clone type thing. I remember the word doppleganger (which means evil twin) and then I remember running down a corridor and the floor crumbling as I ran, like in an action movie when the building is going down around the hero. I remember also hearing the name St. Anthony (whether I was him or not I don't remember) I woke up pretty shaken, it wasn't the feeling after a nightmare but along those lines of freaked outness. So I googled St. Anthony - Patron Saint of the monastery. He was ascetic and so "perfect" in his ways and faith to God that Satan tried to tempt him and break his concentration. The story I read for him was almost identical to the story of the Buddha under a Bodi Tree when the dark demon in Brahmanism came and tried to break the Buddha's concentration. The Buddha prevailed just as St. Anthony did. When Satan busted out his best and craziest demons and stuff at St. Anothony, God stepped in and saved Anthony. When Anthony asked why God had not stepped in sooner to save him, God replied - "Anthony, I was here the whole time; I stood by thee, and beheld thy combat: and because thou hast manfully withstood thy enemies, I will always protect thee, and will render thy name famous throughout the earth." Why did I have a dream about being St. Anthony in a middle ages Doom? Why didn't I have a weapon if it was a 1st person shooter?
