As with what often happened to me at McDonald's whenever I was going through a phase where I wanted to quit I would have a pretty awesome day at work and change my mind. Though I'm still going job hunting soon bc I will definitely be working 2 jobs this summer whether I do summer classes or not being as I will hardly get any hours from UITS. Plus if I stick it out through the summer theres the possibility of becoming a supervisor which makes like $10/hr and like $12/hr on graveyards.

As for summer classes I'm thinking I will definitely have to. I'm doing awful in programming. Even when I legitimately try i get like 50s and 60s on the homework. So I got a tutor, though I dont know if it will be too late. Hopefully I can make it out with a C- or better though because I really dont want to retake it.

Which brings me to my next dilemma, and that is staying in informatics or switching to fine arts to do graphic design. I know I would be taking way cooler classes and wouldn't have to do computer stuff as much, but at the same time i really do like the computer stuff just not the programming. My issue is that both informatics and fine arts for graphic design qualify me for the same jobs, but informatics makes me SO much more marketable. In my design class now all the grad students are HCI cognates for info and they keep saying how even if you're not good at programming so long as you have experience with it that is reason enough for an employer to choose you over someone else. And I was also talking to them about HCI and now I'm not sure what the difference between doing that and graphic design is because they're rather similar.

Hopefully my adviser meeting will make me feel better about some of this.
